Marvelous Explanation Shiva Lingam – Some Scientific Truths

In the Nirgun-Sagun state Shiva is worshiped as the Shivalingam (Contrary to the rumors spread by our Islamic brothers that Shivalingam is the male genital the fact is that Shivalingam has a deep and scientific theory and philosophy).
A glance at the rounded, elliptical, an-iconic image of Shivalingam placed on a circular base (known as Peedam), which is found in the Sanctum Sanctorum (Garbhagraha) in all Shiva temples, has given rise to various interpretations, without realizing the scientific truths discovered by the ancient Hindu sages. The practice of worshipping Shiva Lingam as the holy symbol of Lord Shiva, has been from time immemorial.
The worship of Shiva Lingam was not confined to India and Srilanka only. Lingam was referred to ‘Prayapas’ by the Romans who introduced the worship of Shiva Lingam to European countries. The statutes of Shiva Lingams were found in the archeological findings in Babylon, a city of ancient Mesopotamia. Further, the archeological findings in in Harappa-Mohanjo-daro, which yielded numerous Shiva Lingam statutes, have disclosed the existence of a highly evolved culture long before the Ariyan’s immigration.
The word Shivalingam has been derived from sanskrit roots Shiva (Lord) + Lingam (Mark/Chinha/Symbol). Hence, Shivalingam is the mark of lord within its creation. Everything in the world arises out of a dome/a ball/ a pindi......be it a tree which comes from a seed which is round, a child which comes from a cell which is round, all heavenly bodies are round, the minutest of cells are round and our very earth is round. Every thing being round is a mark of the Lord/Shiva. Since Shiva cant be comprehended, we worship his mark or we worshib the whole Brahmman in a Shivalingam. It is unfortunate for some critics to have an imaginary invention on the image of Shiva Lingam as a male organ and viewed with obscenity, but had conveniently forgotten how a phallus could have appeared from the base. Moreover, since Lord Shiva is described as having no form, it is ridiculous to maintain that Lingam represents a phallus. This is the reason why Swami Vivekananda described Shiva Lingam as the symbol of the Eternal Brahman, when a German Orientalist, Gusta Oppert traced it to phallicism. Swami Vivekananda cited Atharva Veda that the worship of Shiva Lingam was sung in praise of sacrificial post – a description of the beginningless and endless of the Eternal Brahman and refuted it as an imaginary invention.
Hinduism does not oppose Science. It does not even oppose other religions. Science is a continuing effort to discover and increase human knowledge of the physical or material world through experiment and observation. But Hinduism has the force of providing answers to certain issues that Science could not.
The Lingam is shaped like an egg and represents the ‘Brahmanda’ or the cosmic egg. There are two types of Shiva Lingam. One is a black meteorite egg-shaped stone. It is said that such a stone is installed at Kabba in Mecca. The other one is man-made and is solidified mercury. Solidifying mercury is an ancient Vedic science.
Shiva Lingam represents the totality of the Cosmos and the Cosmos, in turn, is represented as a Cosmic Egg. Again an egg is an ellipsoid depicting with no beginning, nor end.

A glance at the image of Shiva Lingam shows there is a pillar with three marks and a Disc beneath it and sometimes with a coiling cobra snake around the Pillar and shows its fangs above the pillar. The truth behind the scientific research by the Danish scientist, Neils Bohr, demonstrates that Molecules (the smallest part of everything) made up of Atoms which consists of Proton, Neutron, and Electron, all of which play a vital part in the composition of Shiva Lingam. In those days instead of using these English words such as Proton, Neutron, Electron, Molecules and Energy, the ancient sages employed the usage of the words like Lingam, Vishnu, Brahma, Sakthi (which in turn is divided into Renuka and Rudrani), Sarppa, etc. as Sanskrit was the dominant language in those periods.

According to Hinduism, the Pillar is described as the column of fire which represents the three Gods – Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara while the Disc or Peedam represents Sakthi. The Disc is shown with three ridges, in carved at its periphery.

Sage Vyasa, the author of Maha Bharatha, mentions that Lord Shiva is smaller than the subatomic particle like Proton, Neutron, and Electron. At the same time, he also mentions Lord Shiva is greater than anything greatest. He is the cause of vitality in all living things. Everything, whether living or non-living, originates from Shiva. He has engulfed the whole world. He is Timeless. He has no birth, no death. He is invisible, unmanifest. He is the Soul of the Soul. He has no emotion, sentiment or passion at all. There is a mysterious or indescribable power in the Shiva Lingam to induce concentration of the mind and helps focus one’s attention. The contents of sage Vyasa is corroborated with the instance of that Arjuna fashioned a Lingam out of clay when worshipping Lord Shiva. Similarly, in Ramayana that before crossing to Sri Lanka, Rama, Lakshmana and Sita fashioned a Shiva Lingam at Rameswaram for worshipping Lord Shiva and also that Ravana could not lift the Lingam after it was placed on the ground by the small boy. These instances show that God may be conceptualized and worshipped in any convenient form. It is the divine power that it represents, is all that matters and here we see that both Arjuna in Maha Bharatha and Rama and Sita worshipping Lord Shiva as Nirguna Brahman or the formless Supreme Being.
The outcome of the scientific research is that the world came into existence with the formation of Molecules. According to Science, two atoms make one Molecule. The valency of molecules indicates the combination of the atoms.

It is essential to have a clear idea of the structure of an atom according to the findings of the Danish scientist, Neils Bohr., the nature of which is given below.
An atom is made up of Proton, Neutron, and Electron.
Neutrons do not have a charge and so would continue on in a straight line.
The nucleus of an atom is composed of positively charged Protons and neutrally charged Neutrons. Almost all the mass of an atom is in its nucleus. The nucleus is the very dense region consisting of Protons and Neutrons at the center of an atom.

Electrons are negatively charged and so would be deflected on a curving path towards the positive plate.
But the whole atom is electrically neutral on account of the presence of an equal number of negative electrons and positive protons.

The electrons revolve rapidly around the nucleus in circular paths called energy level. The energy levels are counted from the center outwards.
Each energy level is associated with a fixed amount of energy.
There is no change in energy of Electrons as long as they help to revolve in the same energy level and the atoms remain stable.

The Bohr model shows that the electrons in atoms are in orbits of differing energy around the nucleus. It is like planets orbiting the Sun.

An examination of the image of Shiva Lingam in the context of Bohr model would demonstrate the puzzling truth that Brahma has created the world. The behavior of Proton, Electron, Neutron, and Energy are well demonstrated by Shiva Lingam.

Vishnu signifies Proton with positive electrical charge.
Mahesha signifies Neutron with no electrical charge.
Brahma signifies Electron with negative electrical charge.
Sakthi is Energy. Sakthi is a type of energy field represented by a Disc.
Shiva Lingam represents the atomic structure. According to the Rishis, Shiva and Vishnu are present in the Lingam. In Sanskrit, the three lines signify multiple. In the atomic structure, there are Protons and Neutrons which are surrounded by fast spinning Electrons.

Sakthi is represented by a Disc in an oval shape with three ridges carved at its periphery. She is Energy and plays a vital role in the Universe.

If one look at the portrait of Vishnu, a lotus is depicted as arising from the navel of Vishnu and Brahma is shown as seated on the lotus. Lotus signifies Energy which has the force of attraction. The stem of the lotus can bend because of its flexibility signaling that Brahma moves around Vishnu. This is a message that Electron is attracted to Proton because of the opposite electric charge.
Moreover, Neutron is depicted as Shiva which has no charge at all.

The nucleus of the atom also contains neutrons. Neutrons are about the same size as Protons but have no electric charge. Neutrons are bound very tightly in the atom’s nucleus with the Protons. When the atom’s nucleus contains as many Neutrons as Protons, the atom is stable.

Similarly, the ancient sages provided the idea that when Shiva is not disturbed and separated, he remains calm. Shiva remains calm because Sakthi takes the form of Renuka. The energy which forms the molecules is denoted by its valency, which in Sanskrit is Renuka. Renuka is one produces Renu or molecule. Two atoms make one molecule.

Hence ancient Hindu sages brought the idea of Sakthi as Shiva’s wife and as part of Shiva and dances around Shiva throughout. However, when Neutron is disturbed and separated natural disaster occur, which signify that Shakthi turns out to be a terror known as Rudrani (Kali) performing destructive dance, signaling natural disaster.

The actual producer of molecules is Electron which signifies Brahma. Modern physics shows that Electrons are shared between the atoms to form a molecule. Therefore the Hindu concept that Brahma created the earth is in conformity with Science.

Yoga as a form of Lingam

Hinduism is deep rooted in the practice of Yoga and meditation. According to Hinduism, Yoga refers to the integration or union of a person’s own consciousness with the Supreme Reality or in other words Cosmic Consciousness.
Yoga was one of the greatest gifts provided by the worship of Lord Shiva to the world and received by people from all walks of life amidst diversity. The concept of Yoga began to surface with the excavations of stone seals from the archeological findings of the Indus Valley civilization and the Mohenjadero-Harappa civilization.

The Vedas were the revelations of the ancient sages, received through yogic meditation during the period of the Indus Valley civilization.

The initial form in the existence is a geometric surface, known as an ellipsoid. According to Yogic tradition, Lingam is a perfect ellipsoid. The first form of creation is an ellipsoid. Apparently, the final form before dissolution is also a Lingam. Modern cosmologists are of the view that the core of every galaxy is in the form of an ellipsoid. Yoga always maintains that the first and final form is a Lingam. If a person meditates, his/her energies will naturally take the form of Lingam. As the first and final form before dissolution is also a Lingam, Lingam is considered as a gateway to the beyond. In Hinduism, Lord Shiva is considered as the Supreme Truth.

There is another scientific truth that water poured down on the Lingam is not considered as holy water or Theertham as it is called. Shiva Lingam is considered to be an atom model. There is radiation from Lingam as it is made out of a type of granite stone. Granite is a source of radiation and reported to have higher radio activity thereby raising some concerns about their safety. Granite is said to have formed as lava or molten rock cooled and solidified over thousands or even millions of years, contain naturally occurring radioactive elements like radium, uranium, and thorium. Perhaps this is the reason that ancient Hindu sages advised their disciples not to touch water that is poured down on the Lingam.

The sages were aware that there will be radiation fall-out if some accidents occur and that is the reason that Shiva Temples were built close to the vicinity of sea, ponds, rivers, tanks or wells. Perhaps this may be the reason why these five Ishwaram temples were built around the coast of Sri Lanka, though Thondeeshwaram was submerged in the sea on account of the movement of the tectonic plates. Even lake Manasarovar is situated at the base of Mt.Kailash.

It is unfortunate that the Truth of the great work done by the ancient Hindu sages is misinterpreted by citing some verses in the Vedas, but we are fortunate to witness that the practices and literature were left as a legacy. It is a consolation that recent scientific discoveries have shown that the findings of the ancient Hindu sages were meaningful.

Parashurama had naval power also by which he had influence up to Kurd region of Iraq-Turkey. They are one of the 14 tribes which had supported Kamadhenu when Sahasrarjuna had attacked. So, the calendar after death was called Kalamba samvat. This is originally a term of solid geometry used in astronomy texts. In spherical polar coordinate system, this is top point like north pole in our maps/globe. Opposite point is Kalamba. Anchor of ship also s called Kalamba (= Column), as it goes down vertically. Persons engaged in shipping are Kalanja and their country is Kalinga. Their head is Kadamba (top point). Thus, the kings of shipping regions of Kalinga and Udupi were called Kadamba. Udupa is wooden boat, region using it was Udra (north Orissa) or Udupi (Malabar coast). Kalamba samvat started in 6177 BC-exactly 3100 years before the death of Yudhishthira in 3077 BC when Laukika era or Saptarshi era had started. Parashuram had destroyed Kshatriyas 21 times-Megasthenese has called it republic period of 120 years. Thus, each republic lasted for about 5 years each like present system. Prior to 21 republics, Parashurama must have been at least 35 years of age, so he lived up to at least 35+120 = 155 years-hence he has been called a Dirghajivi. Kalamba (Kollam) samvat start tallies with the archeological estimate of Konkana civilization era within experimental errors. 1) Dr Raghavendra Rao from the Anthropological Survey of India, says that DNA evidence linking Indian tribes to Australian Aboriginal people points to the fact that humans arrived in Australia via a southern coastal route through India. His team used computer programs to predict that a common ancestor existed, between the Indian population and Aboriginal Australians, up to 50,000 years ago.

The Uru megalithic sites of Australia date back to between 30,000 and 50,000 years, with extensive sites in the central west of NSW. The Sun is the most common symbol that is seen in the Megaliths erected by the Uru of Australia.

The Uruans worshipped the Sky-Father and Mother Earth.These are concepts linked to the Vedic India. In India, the 'World-Mother' is worshipped as Goddess 'Jagadambika' (जगदम्बिका). The 'Sky-Father' in Sanskrit is 'Jagatpati' (जगत्पति) which is 'Vishnu'. Jagatpati is also another word for the Sun as per the Vedic tradition.

With this as the background lets apply Sanskrit to decipher the word 'Uru'- the name by which this civilization came to be known. In Sanskrit 'Uru' (उरु) means 'Earth'. This may be a reference to the 'Earth-Mother' of the Uruan culture.

However, in the megalithic sites of Australia, it is the Sun that takes prominence and is the most common and recurring symbol. In Sanskrit 'Aru' (अरु) means the 'Sun'. And the name Australia may be derived from 'Aru'.

The entire word Australia can be decoded if we apply Sanskrit. 'Arus' (अरुस्) means the 'Sun', 'Taral' (तरल) means liquid which may refer to the coastal route which the Indians took to arrive into Australia and the fact that the entire continent is surrounded by water - a logic similar to why Australia and New Zealand together are referred to as Oceania. 'Alaya' (आलय) means 'home' or a 'retreat'.

And now a report from BBC News, dated 14th January 2013 quotes a genetic research study which has concluded that Australia experienced a wave of migration from India about 4,000 years ago. It also says that a Genome-wide data substantiates that the Holocene gene flowed from India to Australia.*

The Dingo Mystery
The dog in the below photo may look familiar to Indians as it closely resembles the free roaming dogs found in India. But this is Dingo, a dog species found in Australia and is also Australia’s largest terrestrial predator. Recent genetic studies of Australian Aborigines have revealed the missing link between Ancient India, Dingo and the natives of Australia. This study also negates the popular belief that Europeans were the first outsiders to arrive on the Australian soil. On the contrary, these studies reveal that ancient Indians were the first outsiders to arrive on the Australian Soil 4000 years ago, to be exact some 4,230 years ago.

The Dingo Mystery was that the oldest known fossil of this dog species in Australia dates back to 4000 years. There are no fossils of Dingo older than 4000 years found anywhere in Australia. So it was as if this dog suddenly arrived on the Australian landscape 4000 years ago. If so, then who brought it and from where? was the question.

The timing or dating of this gene flow matches so well with the earlier explained mysteries that now it is clear that Ancient Indians had arrived on the Australian soil 4000 years ago, bringing with them the Dingo. They also taught the native Australians the new agriculture techniques, plant processing, and stone tools creation. This also explains the other so far unexplained mystery of the huge expansion of a new Aboriginal language group in Australia at around the same time i.e. some 4000 years back.

Ancient Indians, not modern Europeans were the first outsiders to enter Australia
Till now it was widely believed that Europeans who first arrived in Australia at the end of the 1700s were the first outsiders to enter Australia. But this new genetic study has now revealed that the ancient Indians were the first outsiders to set foot on the Australian soil 4000 years back. More importantly, this migration is supposed to have happened from southern India, the present Dravidian speaking population of India.

Why did it take so long for a proper genetic study to be conducted on the Aborigines of Australia? Researcher Mark Stoneking says that the Aboriginal Australians have been hesitant to participate in these kinds of genetic studies, and were suspicious about the intention of such studies till recently.

Another important point to be noted is also the fact that the native Australians themselves arrived to Australia some 50,000 years back from India. The current theory of human origin and expansion, called the “Out of Africa” theory says that humans originated in Africa, and from there migrated to India, and from India spread to the rest of the world. मध्यप्रदेश के आगर मालवा नगर में श्रीबैजनाथ महादेव का एक ऎसा ऎतिहासिक मंदिर हैं जिसका जीर्णोद्धार तत्कालीन अंग्रेज सेना के एक अधिकारी ने करवाया था। प्रदेश के नवगठित एवं 51 वे जिले के रूप में गत वर्ष अस्तित्व में आए आगर मालवा के इतिहास में उल्लेख है कि बैजनाथ महादेव के मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार कर्नल मार्टिन ने वर्ष 1883 में 15 हजार रूपये का चंदा कर करवाया था। इस बात का शिलालेख भी मंदिर के अग्रभाग में लगा है। उत्तर एवं दक्षिण भारतीय कलात्मक शिल्प में निर्मित श्रीबैजनाथ महादेव को चमत्कारी देव माना जाता है। इसका ज्वलंत उदाहरण उस समय दिखाई दिया जब अफगानिस्तान में 130 वर्ष पहले पठानी सेना से घिरे कर्नल मार्टिन की प्राणरक्षा भगवान शिव ने की और वे सही सलामत घर लौटे।
इतिहास में वर्णित है कि वर्ष 1879 में अंग्रेजों ने अफगानिस्तान पर आक्रमण कर दिया था। इस युद्ध का संचालन आगरमालवा की ब्रिट्रिश छावनी के लेफ्टिनेंट क र्नल मार्टिन को सौंपा गया था। मार्टिन युद्ध एवं स्वयं की कुशलता के समाचार आगर मालवा में छोड कर गए अपनी पत्नी को नियमित भेजते थे। इस दौरान एक वक्त ऎसा भी आया जब मार्टिन के संदेश आना बंद हो गए। उनकी पत्नी को अनेक शंकाएं सताने लगी। वह एक दिन घोडे पर बैठ कर आगरमालवा में घूमने गई तो श्री बैजनाथ महादेव मंदिर से आती शंखध्वनि और मंत्रों से आकर्षित हो मंदिर पहुंची। वहां मंदिर में पूजा पाठ कर रहे पंडितों से चर्चा की एवं शिव पूजन के महत्व के बारे में पूछताछ की। पुजारी ने कहा भगवान शिव औघरदानी और भोलेभंडारी हैं। अपने भक्तों के संकट वह तुरंत ही दूर करते हैं। पुजारी ने लेडी मार्टिन से पूछा बेटी तुम बडी चिंतातुर लग रही हो क्या कारण है। लेडी मार्टिन बोली मेरे पति युद्ध में गए हैं और कई दिनों से उनका कोई समाचार नहीं आया इसलिए चिंतित हूं, इतना कहते हुये लेडी मार्टिन रो पडी। फिर ब्राहमणों के कहने पर श्रीमती मार्टिन ने लघु रूद्रीअनुष्ठान आरंभ करवाया तथा भगवान शिव से अपने पति की रक्षा के लिये प्रार्थना करने लगी और संकल्प लिया कि उनके पति युद्ध जीतकर आ जाए तो वह मंदिर पर शिखर बनवायेगी। लघुरूद्री की पूर्णाहुति के दिन भागता हुआ एक संदेशवाहक शिवमंदिर पहुंचा। लेडी मार्टिन ने घबराते हुए लिफाफा खोला और पढने लगी। पत्र में उनके पति ने लिखा, हम युद्धरत थे तुम्हारे पास खबर भी भेजते रहते थे लेकिन अचानक हमें पठानी सेना ने घेर लिया। ब्रिटिश सेना के सैनिक मरने लगे ऎसी विषम परिस्थिति से हम घिर गए और जान बचाकर भागना मुश्किल हो गया। इतने में देखा कि युद्ध भूमि में कोई एक योगी जिनकी लम्बी जटाएं एवं हाथ में तीन नोंक वाला हथियार (त्रिशूल) लिए पहुंचे। उन्हें देखते ही पठान सैनिक भागने लगे और हमारी हार की घंडियां एकाएक जीत में बदल गई।
पत्र में लिखा था यह सब उन त्रिशूलधारी योगी के कारण ही संभव हुआ। फिर उन्होने कहा घबराओं नहीं मैं भगवान शिव हूं तथा तुम्हारी पत्नी द्वारा शिवपूजन से प्रसन्न होकर तुम्हारी रक्षा करने आया हूं। पत्र पढते हुए लेडी मार्टिन ने भगवान शिव की प्रतिमा के सम्मुख सिर रखकर प्रार्थना करते हुए भगवान का शुक्रिया अदा किया और उनकी आंखों से खुशी के आंसू छलक पडे। कुछ दिनों बाद जब कर्नल मार्टिन आगर मालवा ब्रिटिश छावनी लौटकर आए और पत्नी को सारी बातें विस्तार से बताई और अपनी पत्नी के संकल्प पर कर्नल मार्टिन ने सन 1883 में पन्द्रह हजार रूपये का सार्वजनिक चंदा कर श्रीबैजनाथ महादेव के मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार क रवाया। आगरमालवा की उत्तर दिशा में जयपुर मार्ग पर बाणगंगा नदी के किनारे स्थापित श्रीबैजनाथ महादेव का यह ऎतिहासिक मंदिर लिंग राजा नलकालीन माना जाता है। पहले यह मंदिर एक मठ के रूप में था तथा तांत्रिक अघौरी यहां पूजापाठ करते थे। मंदिर का गर्भगृह 11 गुणा 11 फीट का चौकोर है तथा मध्य में आ ग्नेय पाषाण का शिवलिंग स्थापित है। मंदिर का शिखर चूनेपत्थर का निर्मित है जिसके अंदर और बाहर ब्रहमा, विष्णु और महेश की दर्शनीय प्रतिमाऎं उत्कीर्ण हैं। करीब 50 फुट ऊंचे इस मंदिर के शिखर पर चार फुट उचां स्वर्णकलश है। मंदिर के सामने विशाल सभा मंडप और मंडप में दो फुट ऊंची एवं तीन फु ट लंबी नंदी की प्रतिमा है। मंदिर के पीछे लगभग 115 फुट लंबा और 48 फुट चौडा कमलकुंड है जहां खिलते हुए कमल के फूलों से यह स्थल और भी रमणीक दिखाई देता है। महाशिवरात्रि के अलावा यहां चैत्र एवं कार्तिक माह में भी भव्यशिव मेला आयोजित होता है और दूर दराज से श्रद्धालु चमत्कारिक श्रीबैजनाथ महादेव के दर्शन पूजन करने पहुंचते हैं।

हिंगलाज माता का मंदिरः हिंदुओं के साथ मुस्लिम भी करते हैं पूजा

क्षत्रियों की कुलदेवी के रूप में प्रसिद्ध हिंगलाज भवानी माता का बलोचिस्तान स्थित मंदिर 52 शक्तिपीठों में से एक है। कराची से 250 किलोमीटर दूर क्वेटा-कराची रोड़ पर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग से करीब घंटेभर की पैदल दूरी पर स्थित है यह मंदिर। मंदिर के सालाना मेले में यहां हिंदू और मुस्लिम दोनों शामिल होते हैं। यहां के स्थानीय लोग हिंगलाज माता मंदिर को श्रद्धा से नानी का हज, नानी का मंदिर कहते हैं। नानी का मतलब यहां ईरान की देवी अनाहिता से है। कहा जाता है कि माता के दर्शन के लिए गुरू नानक देव भी आए थे। 

पाकिस्तान स्थित इस मंदिर के लिए कहा जाता है कि यहां मांगी गई हर इच्छा पूरी होती है। किसी समय पूरे विश्व के हिन्दुओं की श्रद्धा का केन्द्र रहा हिंगलाज माता का मंदिर में अब भी दूर-दूर से लोग आकर मन्नत मांगते हैं। यहां का सारा प्रबन्धन स्थानीय निवासियों की एक कमेटी करती है।

Vindhyvasini Goddess- मां शक्ति ने दिए राजा को दर्शन, कहा यहीं मुझे करो स्थापित

नगर की आराध्य देवी मां विंध्यवासिनी की ख्याति प्रदेश और देशभर में नहीं, अपितु विदेशों में भी है। यहां हर साल अमेरिका का एक श्रद्धालु दोनों नवरात्र में मनोकामना ज्योत प्रज्ज्वलित करता हैं। मांगे मुराद पूरी करने वाली मां विंध्यवासिनी देवी को यहां बिलाई दाई भी कहा जाता है, जिनकी लीला अपरंपार है। स्वयं-भू नगर आराध्य माता विंध्यवासिनी देवी मां बिलाई माता के इतिहास गाथा की जितना बखान किया जाए, उतना कम है। देवी-देवताओं का गढ़ छत्तीसगढ़ श्रद्धा भक्ति और विश्वास का केंद्र है। 
छत्तीसगढ़ के धमतरी जिले में नया बस स्टैंड से 2 किमी की दूरी में माता विंध्यवासिनी देवी का मंदिर है। माता धरती फोड़कर प्रकट हुई है, इस कारण इसे स्वयं-भू विंध्यवासिनी माता कहते हैं। अंचल में बिलाई माता के नाम से यह प्रसिद्ध है। शास्त्र वेद भागवत पुराण के मुताबिक विंध्यवासिनी माता श्रीकृष्ण की बहन है। योग माया कृष्ण बहन नंदजा यशोदा पुत्री विंध्यवासिनी मां शिवमहापुरायण में नंद गोप गृहे माता यशोदा गर्भ संभव तत्सवै नास्यामि विंध्याचल वासिनी मूर्ति का पाषण श्याम रंग का है। अंबे मैय्या गौरी माता विंध्यवासिनी देवी मां के 108 नाम है।
धार्मिक इतिहास में मान्यता

धार्मिक इतिहास और राजलेखानुसार यह क्षेत्र पहले घनघोर बनबिवान जंगल था। एक समय राजा नरहर देव अपनी राजधानी कांकेर से सैनिकों के साथ इस स्थान में शिकार खेलने आए। राजा के सैनिक आगे की ओर बढ़ रहे थे, एकाएक अचानक उनका दल-बल सैनिक हाथी-घोडे रूक गए। काफी प्रयास के बाद भी आगे बढ़ने में विफल रहे। राजा-सैनिक वापस चले गए। दूसरे दिन भी यह घटना हुई। राजा ने सेनापति को आदेश दिया कि इस स्थान पर ऎसा क्या है, पता करें। सैनिकों ने आदेश का पालन किया। खोजबीन जांच में उन्होंने देखा, पाया कि एक असाधारण पत्थर तेजमयी आकर्षक, मनमोहन, मंत्रमुग्ध है। उसके आसपास जंगली बिल्लियां बैठी थी। 

राजा को सूचना दी गई, राजा खुद आए। वे इस असाधारण पत्थर को देखकर मंत्रमुग्ध आकर्षित हो गए। वे अपने सेनापति को आदेश दिया कि शीघ्र ही इसे यहां से हटाकर राजधानी में स्थापित करें। सैनिक राजा का आदेश पाकर खुदाई कार्य में जुट गए। अचानक वहां से जल की अविरल जलधारा निकलना आरंभ हो गया तो खुदाई कार्य रोक दिया गया। रात्रि में राजा नरहर देव को देवी मां ने स्वप्न दिया कि राजन मुझे यहां से न ले जाए, मैं नहीं जाउंगी, तुम्हारे सारे प्रयास विफल होंगे। मेरी पूजा अर्चना आराधना इसी स्थान पर करें। यह जगत के लिए मंगलमय कल्याणकारी सुखमय, शांति और मनोकामना पूर्ण रहेगी। मेरा आशीर्वाद सभी को मिलेगी। बाबा भोलेनाथ, हनुमान जी का आशीर्वाद भक्तों पर कृपा बरसाते हैं। यहां सर्वप्रथम गोंड़ राजा के शासनकाल में मंदिर का निर्माण किया गया।

1500 years old Hanuman temple In Pakistan

पाकिस्तान में है एक ऎसा मंदिर जहां भगवान राम पहुंचे। 1500 साल पहले बने इस पंचमुखी हनुमान मंदिर में हर मनोकामना पूर्ण होती है। पाकिस्तान के सिंध प्रांत के कराची में स्थित इस मंदिर का पुर्ननिर्माण 1882 में किया गया। मंदिर में पंचमुखी हनुमान की मनमोहक प्रतिमा स्थापित है। बताया जाता है कि हनुमानजी की यह मूर्ति डेढ़ हजार साल पहले प्रकट हुई थी। जहां से मूर्ति प्रकट हुई वहां से मात्र 11 मुट्ठी मिट्टी को हटाया गया और मूर्ति सामने आ गई। हालांकि इस रहस्मयी मूर्ति का संबंध त्रेता युग से है। मंदिर पुजारी का कहना है कि यहां सिर्फ 11-12 परिक्रमा लगाने से मनोकामना पूरी हो जाती है। हनुमानजी के अलावा यहां कई हिन्दु देवी-देवताओं की मूर्तियां स्थापित हैं। गौरतलब है कि इस मंदिर के दर्शन भाजपा नेता लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी और जसवंत सिंह भी कर चुके हैं।

कटासराज मंदिर परिसर, पंजाब
पाकिस्तान के पंजाब की राजधानी से लाहौर 270 किलोमीटर दूरी पर चकवाल जिले में स्थित है कटासराज मंदिर। कहा जाता है कि यहीं पर पांडवों ने आदिकाल से स्थित शिवलिंग की पूजा की थी। पांड़वों ने अपने अज्ञातवास के 4 साल कटासराज में ही बिताए थे। यह भी माना जाता है कि शिव और पार्वती का विवाह भी इसी जगह सम्पन्न हुआ था। धार्मिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार माता पार्वती के वियोग में जब शिवशंकर ने रूदन किया, तो पृथ्वी पर दो कुंड बन गए थे। इनमें से एक कुंड अजमेर के पुष्कर में ब्रह्म सरोवर के नाम से जाना जाता है और दूसरा पाकिस्तान के कटासराज में मंदिर परिसर में मौजूद है। दोनों कुंड़ों के पानी की विशेष्ाता इनका सदैव स्वच्छ रहना और रोग-दोष मिटाना है।

Baba, Vanga and her prediction of end of world by 3797

She is called the Nostradamus of the Balkans, and with good reason. Baba, Vanga, the blind Bulgarian clairvoyant, who died 20 years ago, is believed to have predicted the rise of the ISIS, the fall of the twin towers, the 2004 Tsunami, and the global warming, among a host of other events. “Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds.“ “The wolves will be howling in a bush and innocent blood will gush,” is, according to her followers, what she said about the fall of the twin towers. 

Born as Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, in Strumica, Macedonia, Baba Vanga, mysteriously lost her eyesight when she was 12, during a massive storm. She went missing for a few days, and it is during one of these days, that she had her first vision.  Baba Vanga rose to popularity as she started to make predictions, and developed a healing touch, during the World War II. Several dignitaries visited the mystic during the years that she was active, including the Bulgarian tsar, Boris III. Before she died in 1996 from breast cancer, she had said that her gift would be passed on to a 10 year old girl, living in France, who will then take on from her. Her house has since been converted into a museum. 

Here are 13 predictions that the Blind Baba made for 2016 and beyond:

Barack Obama will be the last president of the US: Baba Vanga had predicted that the 44^th US president would be an African American, but she had also added that he would be the last one. According to her, he would leave office at a time when the country would be in economic ruins, and there would be a huge divide between the northern and southern states – as was the case during the American Civil War.

Europe will cease to exist: According to Baba Vanga, the continent will cease to exist by 2016, and all that would remain will be empty spaces and wasteland, nearly devoid of any form of life. She is reported to have said that chemical weapons would be used by extremists against Europe.

Muslims will invade Europe: The blind mystic had also predicted that Muslims will invade Europe, and there will be widespread destruction by extremists, which will go on for many years, until the continent ceases to exist. She had also predicted that a Great Muslim War will begin in Syria. 

China will become the new super power: As per her predictions, China is set to become the new superpower in 2018, bringing an end to the United States and its economy. According to her, the exploiters (the developed nations) will become the exploited (the third world). In 2011, the International Monetary Fund had also predicted that China’s economy will overtake that of the US in 2016, emerging as the new superpower.    

Hunger eradication: Baba Vanga has predicted that hunger will get eradicated sometime between 2025 and 2028.

On to Venus: Humans will travel to Venus, according to the Baba, in search of new energy sources. They might even set up a colony there.

Rome as the capital of the Islamic caliphate: Islam will finish invading the whole of Europe by 2043, and Rome will be the capital of the new caliphate.

Ice caps melting: According to the Baba, ice caps will melt by 2045. The rate at which the ice caps are melting already due to global warming, does seem to suggest the same.  

Cloning of organs: As per Baba Vanga’s predictions, body organs will be cloned in 2046, and that would be the easiest method of treatment.

US attacking Muslim dominated Europe: By 2066, the US will attack Muslim dominated Europe using climate change weapon, and will try to retake Rome and bring back Christianity.

The return of Communism: By 2076, communism will return to Europe and the rest of the world. 

Underwater civilisations: By 2130, civilisations will learn how to live under water, with the help of aliens. 

The death of the Earth: By 3797, everything on Earth will cease to exist. However, humans will be advanced enough to move to a new star system

Predictions -Nostradamus

 NOSTRADAMUS, the French-Jewish seer who died more than 400 years ago, and the reason for his extraordinary popularity is quite simple. Many predictions published by Nostradamus in 1555 have been completely vindicated by the passage of time. Writing more than 400 years ago, he not only foresaw the two World Wars of the 20th century, but also came close to mentioning Hitler by name! Earlier on, the French Revolution reached elimination in 1792, as predicted by him.

Incredible? Well, it is almost unbelievable. But even the most strident critics have been silenced by the phenomenal accuracy of the French seer. Of the approximately 2,500 forecasts that he published in his poetic "Centuries", no less than 800 have been precisely fulfilled so far. The remainder covers the period up to the year 3797. The track record of Nostradamus is so perfect that there can be no doubt that the others too will be realized. His "Centuries" are absolutely amazing.

For Hindus especially, Nostradamus ought to be a hero of immense cheer. The Frenchman never visited India. In point of time, his forecasts were published well before Akbar became the Moghul ruler in Delhi. But, despite the great distance of time and space, Nostradamus clearly foresaw the rise of a mighty all-conquering Hindu nation. Its birth is close at hand. The seer predicts that a resurgent India will burst forth upon its former oppressors and destroy them completely. The beginning of this terrible revenge will be in the seventh month of 1999.

and it is bound to happen.

Meanwhile, he predicts, after seven years of furious warfare, the Moslems will be totally wiped out. There will be no trace left of either Mecca or Medina. Somanath will be avenged a billion times over. The creed of Muhammad will vanish forever.

The European countries who despoiled India will not be let off either. Flames will engulf Rome as Hindu soldiers advance on Paris overcoming the barrier of the Alps. The Pope will fly from his lair. Much of Europe will repudiate the false tenets of Christianity. The ancient sway of Hinduism will be restored. Vedic chants will again fill the air.


Does this all sound like a fairy-tale? To convince the skeptics it is best to quote the prophetic quatrains of the "Centuries". It must always be borne in mind that they were first published in 1555. Two copies of that edition are still preserved in the French National Library in Paris. Their genuineness cannot be disputed.
Moslem murderers and their Western patrons will find the following forecast particularly hard to stomach:

Quatrain 75, Century X 
“Long awaited, he will not take birth in Europe, 
India will produce the immortal ruler, 
Seeing wisdom and power of unlimited scope, 
Asia will bow before this conquering scholar.” 

As if this were not a sufficient warning to fanatics, Nostradamus makes his meaning still more explicit in the following:

Quatrain 96, Century X 
“The religion of the name of the seas triumphs, 
Against the fanatics of the Khalif's adalat, 
The murderous creed of the false alefs, 
Between the Hindus and Christians will be caught.” 

This prophecy need a little explication. In geography, one finds the Hindu Maha Sagar (the Indian Ocean in English). Hinduism is the only religion with a sea (an ocean, rather) named after it. The Moslem fanatics believe that the Shariat or Koranic law with its sexual licence is God-given or Khalif's adalat. The Koran itself opens with the letter alef (A) in Arabic. Both Hindus and Christians have suffered at the hands of Moslems and seek revenge. Lebanon is a foretaste of things to come. The Nostradamian quatrain spells the doom of the creed.
If this interpretation should sound far-fetched, consider yet another prophetic quatrain:

Quatrain 50, Century L 
“From the peninsula where three seas meet, 
Comes the ruler to whom Thursday is holy, 
His wisdom and might all nations will greet, 
To oppose him in Asia will be folly.” 

South India is the only peninsula in the entire globe where three seas meet a point and stretch away. The great Hindu leader who will wipe out our enemies will hence be a south Indian who offers worship on Thursdays. It is easy to see why Nostradamus specifically mentions Thursday as the holy day. It is only Hindus who consider Thursday sacred. Moslems pray on Friday; Jews bow before God on Saturday; Christians bawl hymns on Sunday at church. Nostradamus is making it clear here that the conqueror will be a Hindu from South India. He will bind Asia together under his rule.

QUOTE: The Hindu leader, however, will not be a tyrant. He will be ruthless with the Moslem fanatics. But he will win over the communists by persuading them of the timeless varieties of Hinduism. Russia will become India's ally:


Quatrain 95, Century III 
“The creed of the Moor will perish, 
Followed be another more popular still, 
The Dnieper will be the first to relish, 
The wisdom which imposes its will.” 

The Moslems are often called Moors by Europeans owing to the nearness of Morocco with its Moslem faith. Incidentally, the Dutch who landed in Ceylon also called the Lankan Moslems as Moors. Even today, the Lankan Moslems are officially designated as Moors.

The Dnieper is a great river in southern Russia. The seer's forecast seems to suggest that Russia will be the first among Communist countries to abandon Marxism in favor of Hinduism. The Red comrades in our midst will doubtless throw up their hands in horror at the mere idea. But Riencourt, the French writer, quotes a prophecy made by Ramakrishna Parmahamsa shortly before his death which strongly supports the French seer's prediction. Shri Ramakrishna declared that his next birth would be to the north-west of India. In other words, he will be reborn in Russia as a Hindu holy man! Communism is certainly a more popular creed than Islam. But both will be alike vanquished by resurgent Hinduism.


CHANDRAYAAN-2

QUOTE: Russia will be greatly benefited by its alliance with the Hindu Rashtra. Nostradamus describes Russia's good fortune : 

Quatrain 26, Century V 
“The Salvic folk will be on the winning side, 
And rise to the highest point, 
They cast off their paltry ideological guide, 
The mountain-army crosess the sea in an expidition joint.”

QUOTE: As the Hindu troops sweep through the Middle East avenging former wrongs, the Russian army in the Caucasus mountains will link up with them. The paltry ideological guide who will be abandoned is Karl Marx. The sea to be crossed is either the Mediterranean or the Black Sea.
Inevitably, the question crops up: Are such things possible? Here is a convincing reply to prove the seer's clairvoyance :

Quatrain 77, Century III 
"In October seventeen twenty-seven, 
The Afghans and Turkey will score, 
Areas lost by Iran, Christians beseech heaven, 
Against Moslems shedding innocent gore."

This event took place exactly 172 years after the publication of the forecast by Nostradamus in 1555. Afghanistan and Turkey made an agreement in October 1727, dividing up Iran. Christian communities which came under Turkish misrule were brutally treated in Georgia and Armenia (both now in U.S.S.R). Nostradamus had never been out of France except for a brief visit to next-door Italy. Yet he foresaw what the Afghans and the Turks would do in Iran in October 1727! This is truly an amazing prediction by any reckoning. None of the parties concerned had ever heard of Nostradamus.

Let us now return to the Hindu holy war. 


Quatrain 59, Century III 
“The empire of Islam by Hindus overthrown, 
The majority of Moslems will succumb, 
To radio-active fall-out by India blown, 
Making Muhammad forever silent and numb.” 


Interestingly, in his prose-introduction to the "Centuries", the seer dwells at some length on the destruction of Islam and Mecca. The city will be smashed up in such a way that all those who enter it will sicken and die. The only interpretation of this forecast is that there will be radioactive fall-out in the area. Nostradamus declares that the Hindus will be engaged in the task of revenge for seven years from the seventh month of 1999. Interestingly, even Islamic texts predict doom in the 15th century of their religion.

QUOTE: After the destruction (annihilation would be the exact word) of Islamic power, the Hindu leader will march on the Europe. Both Egypt and Israel will rally to his standard. 


“The Hindu leader with Hebrew leaning, 
Marches on Rome and its allies, 
His ships sail from Libyan mooring, 
The Bible-chanting clergy dies.” 

This tremendous onslaught will be bloody. In yet another forecast Nostradamus remarks that the Hindu army will lose 2,50,000 men. But victory will be attained. It will be decisive.


Passage 40 
“Rome of seven hills hit by calamities quick, 
Storm, deluge, epidemic and consuming fire, 
The Hindus give Europe a colossal kick, 
And conquer it with revengeful ire.” 

The atrocities and fraudulent conversions by Christian missionaries will thus be avenged in the total destruction of Rome. The Pope and his canting clergy will seek refuge in Paris. They will be assisted by a Scottish leader who is called Hadrian in the "Centuries". This is a reference to Hadrian's Wall to isolate Scotland built by the Roman emperor Hadrian, 1,800 years ago.

Hitherto there has been no mention of America in this narrative. Nostradamus mentions it by name only once. It is time to consider the implications of his incredible forecast :

Quatrain 66, Century X 
“The British leader by America sent, 
Red Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London - "Roi Reb (Red)"?Will ruin Scotland by a clever plan, 
Boss Reb's foes will be sorely rem, 
And damn him as unchristian man.” 


IL-30 REFULES SU-30
It has been already noted that the Scottish leader nick-named Hadrian will join hands with the Pope against the Hindus.  Amazingly, the United States will side with India in the war! The Americans will nominate a leader in London who is intriguingly called Boss Reb. He will be a veritable fox in cunning. He will defeat to Scots thoroughly and bring down the Christian alliance around the Pope.

Judging by the "Centuries", the climateric war of 1999 will find India, Russia and America ranged on one side as allies. Is this at all likely? For answer, let us turn to the famous American seeress Jeane Dixon, whose forecasts have been collated in a best-selling book. Its title is "The Gift of Prophecy", authored by Ruth Montgomery.

Jeane Dixon correctly foresaw the Partition of India in 1947, and the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi shortly afterwards. She was frequently consulted by American presidents. She told President Roosevelt in 1944 that America and Russia would be in alliance in 1999 against China. At that time (1944) Communists had not yet seized power in Peking. But in 1949 they were victorious. Incidentally, Jeane Dixon forecast Sanjay Gandhi's death in 1980.

At present, America and Russia seem set on a collision course. Can they ever make up heir differences? Recent history proves that such about-turns are not impossible. Only 15 years ago, China and America were enemies. Today, they are allies. It would be utterly unwise to pooh pooh even bizarre possibilities. Truth is often stronger than fiction.

While the America take over the government of Britain through their nominee Boss Reb, the Hindu leader will advance upon Paris, where the Pope is holed up.

Quatrain 29, Century II 
“The Hindu hero will march from his base, 
Nuclear destruction of ParisCrossing the Apennines to enter France, 
Conquering the clouds and seas ice, 
All enemies will fall before his lance.” 


Paris will be taken after a fierce siege. Hadrian will be killed in a vain defiance. At this juncture, Nostradamus makes a curious observation. He predicts that a tree in the center of Paris will crash down. What tree? Could it be the Eiffel Tower, built more than 300 years after his death? From a distance the Eiffel Tower rather resembles a giant oak-tree.

What of the date of the beginning of the titanic fight which will send India on a holy war? Nostradamus provides a precise answer


Quatrain 72, Century X 
“Bearing upon him the Mongol-sign, 
The great king of terror jumps from heaven, 
In July nineteen ninenty-nine, 
Mars to a just war will be driven.” 

The classical name for the Chinese emperor was "Son of Heaven". A Chinese leader will therefore, launch a terrible war in July (Nostradamus says seventh month) of 1999 in imitation of Genghis Khan, the great Mongol conqueror. Mars is the seer's nick-name for a French statesman who will resist China in 1999. He will be exiled from Paris till the Hindu army rescues him and restores him.

What is one to make of the predictions of Nostradamus? Will they come true? The seer himself admits that the "Centuries" were written in a mystical trance. The conscious mind did not produce them. When it is remembered that more than 800 of the forecasts have already been fulfilled in the last 400 years, skepticism seems unwarranted and inept. In quatrain 42, Century X, the seer predicted that the British empire would collapse in 1942. In that year, the Quit India movement gave the death-blow to British imperialism. What makes the forecast truly breathtaking is the fact that there was no Britain and no empire when Nostradamus published his predictions in 1555. England joined up with Scotland to form Britain only in 1603. The battle of Plassey was fought in 1757, heralding British rule in India.

Nostradamus saw far beyond both these events to forecast the end of British hegemony in 1942. This alone should make clear that the French-Jewish seer possessed divine provision.
When Nostradamus published the "Centuries" in 1555, the title referred only to the arrangement of quatrains in groups of 100 years. It was not an allusion to the hundreds of years that the predictions actually span. There are 10 centuries in all, making a total of about 1000 quatrains. But Century (7) is incomplete with only 44 verses. The short-fall is adequately made up by additional quatrains include later. Ever since their first (1555) appearance, the Centuries have been a perennial best-seller.

The first English translation of Nostradamus's great work was made in 1672 by Theodore Garencieres. The second translation came in 1715 from the pen of a priest who called himself only by the initials D.D. The next translation was in 1891 when Charles Ward made a scholarly attempt to interpret the often-obscure quatrains. Ward's translation was reissued in America in 1940 by the Modern Library. At that time, the Second World War had been started by Hitler.

Hitler and his Nazi Germany made a clever attempt to misuse Nostradamus for propaganda purposes. A New edition of Centuries was printed in Germany giving a totally false interpretation of his prophecies. But Nostradamus himself had not the slightest doubt about Hitler's ultimate fate. He predicted that the Nazis would be annihilated (Quatrain 77, Century VIII) after murdering countless Jews.

In 1982, President Mitterand of France let it be known that he was an avid reader of the Centuries. In 1983, the well-known actor Orson Welles produced an immensely popular American television show on the forecasts of Nostradamus. There have ben so many English translations of the Centuires in the recent past, that the British journalist Taya Zinkin wryly remarked that Nostradamus would top any popularity poll. Mrs. Zinkin is no stranger to India. She spent many years in Delhi as a correspondent. Nostradamus predicts a glorious future for India.

There is no beef in Vedas -Part 2 -वेदों में गोमांस? भाग-2

१. वेद पशुओं और निर्दोष प्राणियों की हिंसा के सख्त खिलाफ हैं.

यज्ञ शब्द ‘यज’ धातु  में ‘ नड्.‘ प्रत्यय जोड कर बनता है. यज धातु के तीन अर्थ होते है – १. देव पूजा – आस- पास के सभी भूतों (पदार्थों) का जतन करना और यथायोग्य उपयोग लेना, ईश्वर की पूजा, माता-पिता का सम्मान, पर्यावरण को साफ़ रखना इत्यादि इस के कुछ उदाहरण हैं. २. दान. ३. संगतिकरण (एकता). वेदों के अनुसार इन में मनुष्यों के सभी कर्तव्य आ जाते हैं. इसलिए सिर्फ वेद ही नहीं बल्कि प्राचीन सारे भारतीय ग्रन्थ यज्ञ की महिमा गाते हैं.

आरोप १ : वेद में यज्ञों का बहुत गुणगान किया गया है. और यज्ञों में पशु बलि दी जाती थी, यह सभी जानते हैं. 
मुख्य बात यह है कि यज्ञ में पशु हिंसा का कहीं कोई प्रमाण नहीं मिलता. वैदिक कोष- निरुक्त २.७यज्ञ को ‘अध्वर‘ कहता है अर्थात हिंसा से रहित (ध्वर=हिंसा). पशु हिंसा हीक्या, यज्ञ में तो शरीर, मन, वाणी से भी की जाने वाली किसी हिंसा के लिएस्थान नहीं है. वेदों के अनेक मन्त्र यज्ञ के लिए अध्वर शब्द का प्रयोग करते हैं. उदा. ऋग्वेद – १.१.४, १.१.८, १.१४.२१, १.१२८.४, १.१९.१, अथर्ववेद- ४.२४.३, १८.२.२, १.४.२, ५.१२.२, १९.४२.४. यजुर्वेद के लगभग ४३मन्त्रों में यज्ञ के लिए अध्वर शब्द आया है. यजुर्वेद ३६.१८ तो कहता है कि ” मैं सभी प्राणियों- सर्वाणि भूतानि (केवल मनुष्यों को नहीं बल्कि जीव मात्र) को मित्र की दृष्टि से देखूं.” इस से पता चलता है कि वेद कहीं भी पशु हिंसा का समर्थन नहीं करता बल्कि उसका निषेध करता है.
भारतवर्ष के मध्य काल में वैदिक मूल्यों का पतन होने के कारण पशु हिंसा चला दी गई. इस का दोष वेदों को नहीं दिया जा सकता. जैसे, आज कई फ़िल्मी सितारे और मॉडल्स मुस्लिम हैं जो फूहड़ता और अश्लीलता परोसते हैं – इस से कुरान अश्लीलता की समर्थक कही जाएगी? इसी तरह, ईसाई देशों में विवाह पूर्व सम्बन्ध और व्याभिचार का बोलबाला है – तो बाइबिल को इस का आधार कहा जायेगा? हमारी चुनौती है उन सब को – जो यज्ञों में पशु बलि बताते हैं कि वे इस का एक भी प्रमाण वेदों से निकाल कर दिखाएँ.

आरोप२ : यदि ऐसा ही है तो वेदों में आए – अश्वमेध, नरमेध, अजमेध, गोमेध क्याहैं ? ‘मेध‘ का मतलब है – ‘ मारना‘, यहाँ तक कि वेद तो नरमेध की बात भीकरते हैं?
उत्तर: इस लेख के प्रथम भाग में हम चर्चा कर चुके हैं कि ‘ मेध’ शब्द का अर्थ –  ‘ हिंसा’ ही नहीं है. ‘मेध’ शब्द- बुद्धि पूर्वक कार्य करने को प्रकट करता है. मेध- ‘ मेधृ – सं – ग – मे’ से बना है. इसलिए, इस का अर्थ –  मिलाप करना, सशक्त करना या पोषित करना भी है. (देखें – धातु पाठ)
जबयज्ञ को अध्वर अर्थात ‘हिंसा रहित‘ कहा गया है, तो उस के सन्दर्भ में ‘ मेध‘ का अर्थ हिंसा क्यों लिया जाये? बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति ‘मेधावी‘ कहे जातेहैं और इसी तरह, लड़कियों का नाम मेधा, सुमेधा इत्यादि रखा जाता है. तो येनाम क्या उनके हिंसक होने के कारण रखे जाते हैं या बुद्धिमान होने के कारण ?
शतपथ १३.१.६.३ और १३.२.२.३ स्पष्ट कहता है कि – राष्ट्र के गौरव, कल्याण और विकास के लिए किये जाने वाले कार्य ‘अश्वमेध’ हैं. शिवाजी, राणा प्रताप, राम प्रसाद बिस्मिल, अशफाक, चन्द्र शेखर आजाद, भगत सिंह आदि हमारे महान देश भक्त, क्रांतिकारी वीरों ने राष्ट्र रक्षा के लिए अपने जीवन आहूत करके अश्वमेध यज्ञ ही किया था.
अन्न को दूषित होने से बचाना, अपनी इन्द्रियों को वश में रखना, सूर्य कीकिरणों से उचित उपयोग लेना, धरती को पवित्र या साफ़ रखना –‘गोमेध‘ यज्ञ है. ‘ गो’ शब्द का एक अर्थ – ‘ पृथ्वी’  भी है. पृथ्वी और उसके पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखना ‘गोमेध’ है. (देखें – निघण्टू १.१, शतपथ १३.१५.३)
मनुष्य की मृत्यु के बाद, उसके शरीर का वैदिक रीति से दाह संस्कार करना –नरमेध यज्ञ है. मनुष्यों को उत्तम कार्यों के लिए प्रशिक्षित एवं संगठित करना भी नरमेध या पुरुषमेध या नृमेध यज्ञ कहलाता है.
‘अज‘ कहते हैं – बीज या अनाज या धान्य को. इसलिए, कृषि की पैदावार बढ़ाना –अजमेध. सीमित अर्थों में – अग्निहोत्र में धान्य से आहुति देना. (देखें-महाभारत शांतिपर्व ३३७.४-५)
विष्णु शर्मा, सुप्रसिद्ध पचतंत्र (काकोलूकीयम्) में कहते हैं कि – जो लोग यज्ञ में हिंसा करते हैं, वे मूर्ख हैं. क्योंकि वे वेद के वास्तविक अर्थ को नहीं समझते. यदि पशुओ को मार कर स्वर्ग में जा सकते हैं, तो फ़िर नरकमें जाने का मार्ग कौन-सा है? महाभारतशांतिपर्व (२६३.६, २६५.९) के अनुसार – यज्ञ में शराब, मछली, मांस को चलानेवाले लोग धूर्त, नास्तिक और शास्त्र ज्ञान से रहित हैं. 
आरोप ३  : यजुर्वेद मन्त्र २४.२९ – ‘ हस्तिन आलम्भते ‘ – हाथियों को मारने के लिए कहता है?
उत्तर: ‘लभ्’ धातु से बनने वाला आलम्भ मारना अर्थ नहीं रखता. लभ् = अर्जित करना या पाना. हालाँकि ‘ हस्तिन’ शब्द का ‘हाथी’ से आलावा और गहन अर्थ भी निकलता है, तब भी यदि हम इस मंत्र में ‘हाथी’ अर्थ लें, तो इससे यही पता चलता है कि, राजा को अपने राज्य के विकास हेतु हाथिओं को प्राप्त करना चाहिए या अर्जित करना चाहिए. भला इसमें हिंसा कहाँ है?
‘आलम्भ‘ शब्द अनेकों स्थानों पर अर्जित करने या प्राप्त करने के लिए आयाहै. उदा. मनुस्मृति ब्रह्मचारियों के लिए स्त्रियों को पाने का निषेध करतेहुए कहती है: ‘वर्जयेत स्त्रीनाम आलम्भं‘. अतः आलम्भते का अर्थ ‘मारना‘ पूर्णत: गलत है. जिन लोगों की जीभ को मांस खाने की लत पड़ गई है उन्हें पशुओं का उपयोग – ‘खाना’ ही समझ में आता है और इसलिए वेद मन्त्रों में ‘आलम्भते’ मतलब मारना, उन्होंने अपने मन से गढ़ लिया.
आरोप ४ : ब्राह्मण ग्रंथों और श्रौत सूत्रों में ‘ संज्ञपन ‘ शब्द आया है, जिसका मतलब बलिदान है ?
उत्तर: अथर्ववेद  ६.७४.१-२  कहता है कि हम अपने मन, शरीर और हृदयों का ‘ संज्ञपन ‘ करें. तो क्या इस से यह समझा जाये कि हम स्वयं को मार दें ! संज्ञपन का वास्तविक अर्थ है – ‘मेल करना या पोषण करना’. मन्त्र का अर्थ है – हम अपने मन, शरीर और हृदयों को बलवान बनाएं जिससे वे एक साथ मिलकर काम करें. संज्ञपन का एक अर्थ – ‘जताना ‘ भी होता है.
आरोप ५ : यजुर्वेद २५. ३४-३५ और ऋग्वेद १.१६२.११-१२ में घोड़े की बलि का स्पष्ट वर्णन है –
” अग्नि से पकाए, मरे हुए तेरे अवयवों से जो मांस- रस उठताहै वह वह भूमि या घास पर न गिरे, वह चाहते हुए देवों को प्राप्त हो.” ” जोघोड़े को अग्नि में पका हुआ देखते हैं और जो कहते हैं कि इस मरे हुए घोड़ेसे बड़ी अच्छी गंध आ रही है तथा जो घोड़े के मांस की लालसा करते हैं, उनकाउद्यम हमें प्राप्त हो.”
उत्तर:  पता चल रहा है कि आपने ग्रिफिथ की नक़ल की है. पहले मन्त्र का घोड़े से कोई वास्ता नहींहै. वहां सिर्फ यह कहा गया है कि ज्वर या बुखार से पीड़ित मनुष्य को वैद्यलोग उपचार प्रदान करें.  दूसरे मन्त्र में ‘वाजिनम्’ को घोड़ा समझा गया है. वाजिनम् का अर्थ है  – शूर \ बलवान \ गतिशील \ तेज. इसीलिए घोड़ा वाजिनम् कहलाता है. इस मन्त्र के अनेक अर्थ हो सकते हैं पर कहीं से भी घोड़े की बलि का अर्थ नहीं निकलता. 
यदि वाजिनम् का अर्थ घोड़ा ही लिया जाये तब भी अर्थ होगा कि – घोड़ों ( वाजिनम् ) को मारने से रोका जाये. इन मन्त्रों के सही अर्थ जानने के लिए कृपया ऋषि दयानंद का भाष्य पढ़ें. साथ ही, पशु हिंसा निषेध और पशु हत्यारे खासकर गाय और घोड़े के हत्यारों के लिए कठोर दंड के मन्त्रों को जानने के लिए प्रथम लेख – वेदों में गोमांस? पढ़ें.
आरोप ६  : वेदों में ‘गोघ्न‘ या गायों के वध के संदर्भ हैं और गाय का मांस परोसने वाले को अतिथिग्वा \ अतिथिग्ना कहा गया है.आप इन्हें कैसे स्पष्ट करेंगे? 
उत्तर: लेख के प्रथम भाग में हम पर्याप्त सबूत दे चुके हैं कि वेदों में गाय को अघन्या या अदिती – अर्थात् कभी न मारने योग्य कहा गया है और गोहत्यारे के लिए अत्यंत कठोर दण्ड के विधान को भी दिखा चुके हैं. ‘गम्’ धातु का अर्थ है – ‘जाना’. इसलिए गतिशील होने के कारण ग्रहों को भी ‘गो’ कहते हैं. अतिथिग्वा \ अतिथिग्ना का अर्थ अतिथियों की तरफ़ या अतिथियों की सेवा के लिए जाने वाले है.
‘गोघ्न‘ के अनेक अर्थ होते हैं. यदि ‘गो‘ से मतलब गाय लिया जाए तब भी ‘गो+ हन् ‘ = गाय के पास जाना, ऐसा अर्थ होगा. ‘हन्‘ धातु का अर्थ -हिंसा के अलावा गति,ज्ञानइत्यादि भी होते हैं. वेदों के कई उदाहरणों से पता चलता है कि ‘हन्’ का प्रयोग किसी के निकट जाने या पास पहुंचने के लिए भी किया जाता है. उदा. अथर्ववेद ‘हन् ‘ का प्रयोग करते हुए पति को पत्नी के पास जाने का उपदेश देता है. इसलिए, इन दावों में कोई दम नहीं है.
आरोप ७ : वेद जवान गायों को मारने केलिए नहीं कहते पर बूढ़ी, बाँझ (‘ वशा ‘) गाय को मारने की आज्ञा देते हैं.इसी तरह, ‘ उक्षा ‘ या बैल को मारने की आज्ञा भी है. 
उत्तर:   इस मनघडंत कहानी के आधुनिक प्रचारक डी.एन झा हैं. वह गौ- मांस भक्षण के अपने दावे को वेदों से दिखाने में सफल न हो सके. क्योंकि वेदों में इस के बिलकुल विपरीत बात ही कही गयी है और गौ हत्या का सख्त निषेध मौजूद है. इसलिए इस के बचाव में उन्होंने लाल बुझक्कड़ी  कल्पना का सहारा लिया.
दरअसल ‘ उक्षा ‘ एक औषधीय पौधा है, जिसे ‘ सोम ‘ भी कहते हैं. यहाँ तककि मोनिअर विलियम्स भी अपने संस्कृत – इंग्लिश कोष में ‘ उक्षा ‘ का यही अर्थ करते हैं. ‘वशा’ का अर्थ ईश्वर की संसार को ‘ वश ‘ में रखने वाली शक्ति है. यदि ‘ वशा ‘ का मतलब बाँझ गाय कर लिया जाए तो कई वेद मन्त्र अपने अर्थ खो देंगे.
उदा. अथर्ववेद १०.१०.४ – यहाँ ‘ वशा ‘ के साथ सहस्र धारा( सहस्रों पदार्थों को धारण करने वाली ) का प्रयोग हुआ है. अन्न, दूध और जल की प्रचुरता दर्शाने वाली सहस्र धारा के साथ एक बाँझ गाय की तुलना कैसे हो सकती है? ऋग्वेद  १०.१९०.२  मेंईश्वर की नियामक शक्ति को ‘वशी ‘ कहा गया है और प्रतिदिन दो बार की जानेवाली वैदिक संध्या में इस मन्त्र को बोला जाता है. 
अथर्ववेद २०.१०३.१५ संतान सहित उत्तमपत्नी को ‘ वशा ‘ कहता है. अन्य कुछ मन्त्रों में ‘वशा‘ शब्द उपजाऊ जमीनया औषधीय पौधे के लिए भी आया है. मोनिअर विलियम्स के कोष में भी ‘वशा’ औषधीय पौधे के सन्दर्भ में प्रयुक्त हुआ है.
इन लोगों ने किस आधार पर ‘ वशा ‘ का अर्थ ‘बाँझ‘ किया है, यह समझ से परे है.
आरोप ८ : बृहदारण्यक उपनिषद  ६.४.१८के अनुसार उत्तम संतान चाहने वाले दंपत्ति को चावल में मांस मिलाकर खानाचाहिए, साथ ही बैल (अर्षभ) और बछड़े (उक्षा) के मांस का सेवन भी करनाचाहिए. 
उत्तर:  वेदों से थककर अब उपनिषदों पर आ गए. पर यदि कोई उपनिषदों में गोमांसाहार दिखा भी दे, तब भी इस से वेदों में गोमांस सिद्ध नहीं हो जाता.
१.हिन्दुओं के सभी धार्मिक ग्रन्थ वेदों को ही अपना आदि स्रोत मानते हैं. इसलिए हिन्दू धर्म में वेदों का प्रमाण ही सर्वोच्च है. पूर्व मीमांसा  १.३.३, मनुस्मृति २.१३, १२.९५, जाबालस्मृति, भविष्य पुराण इत्यादि के अनुसार वेद और अन्य ग्रंथों में मतभेद होने पर वेदों को ही सही माना जाए.
२.बृहदारण्यकोपनिषत् पर किया गया यह बेहूदा आरोप दरअसल गलत समझ का नतीजा है.
३.पहले ‘मांसौदनम्’ को लें –
यहाँ इस श्लोक से पूर्व ४ ऐसे श्लोक हैं, जिनमें बच्चों में विविध वैदिक ज्ञान पाने के लिए चावल को विशिष्ट खाद्य पदार्थों के साथ खाने के लिए कहा है. मांसोदनं के अलावा जो अन्य विशिष्ट खाद्य पदार्थ बताये गए हैं वे हैं: क्षीरोदनं (चावल के साथ दूध), दध्योदनं (चावल के साथ दही), चावल के साथ पानी और चावल के साथ तिल (दलहन). ये सब इतर वेदों में निपुणता प्राप्त करने के लिए बताये गए हैं. इस श्लोक में केवल अर्थववेद में निपुणता प्राप्त करने के लिए मांसोदनं (चावल के साथ मांस) का उल्लेख है. यहीं इस सन्दर्भ में असंगति साफ़ दिखाई देती है.
४. सच तो यह है कि वहां शब्द – ‘माषौदनम्‘ है, ‘मांसौदनम्‘ नहीं. ‘माष‘ एक तरह की दाल है. इसलिए यहाँ मांस का तो प्रश्न ही नहींउठता. आयुर्वेद गर्भवती स्त्रियों के लिए मांसाहार को सख्त मना करता है औरउत्तम संतान पाने के लिए ‘माष‘ सेवन को हितकारी कहता है ( देखें -सुश्रुतसंहिता). इससे ये साफ़ है कि बृहदारण्यक भी वैसा ही मानता है जैसा सुश्रुत में है. इन दोनों में केवल माष और मांस का ही फर्क होने का कोई कारण नहीं.
५.फिर भी अगर कोई माष को मांस ही कहना चाहे, तब भी मांस तो ‘गूदे‘ ( pulp) को भी कहते हैं सिर्फ गोश्त (meat) को ही नहीं.प्राचीन ग्रंथों में मांस अर्थात गूदा के ढेरों प्रमाण मिलते हैं – चरकसंहिता देखें, वहां शब्द हैं – आम्रमांसं = आम का गूदा,खजूरमांसं = खजूर कागूदा. तैत्तरीय संहिता २.३२.८ – दही, शहद और धान को मांस कहता है.
६. मोनिअर विलियम्स का कोष उक्षा अर्थात सोम और ऋषभ (जिससे अर्षभ शब्द बना) दोनों को औषधीय पौधा बताता है. ऋषभ का वैज्ञानिक नाम Carpopogan pruriens है. चरक संहिता १.४-१३, सुश्रुत संहिता ३.८ और भावप्रकाश पूर्ण खंड भी यही कहते हैं.
१. महाभारत के अनुशासन पर्व ११५ में राजा रन्तिदेवका नाम कभी मांस न खाने वालों राजाओं में है. यदि उनके महल गोमांस से भरेरहते थे तो उनका नाम मांस न खाने वालों में कैसे आया ? 
२. मांस का मतलब हमेशा मीट या गोश्त ही नहीं होता – यह भी सिद्ध हो चुका है.
३. जिस श्लोक में गोमांस का आरोप लगाया गया है – उस के अनुसार प्रतिदिन २००० गौएँ मारी जाती थी, इस हिसाब से एक वर्ष में ७,२०,००० से भी अधिक गौओं का वध होता था ? क्या ऐसे श्लोक पर यकीन करना बुद्धिसंगत है?
४. महाभारत का शांति पर्व २६२.४७ – गाय या बैल के हत्यारे को महापापी घोषित करता है. एक ही पुस्तक में यह विरोधाभास कैसे?
५.  दरअसल, इन श्लोकों को भ्रष्ट करने का श्रेय राहुल सांकृतायन जैसे महापंडित को है. वे अपनी वेद निंदा के लिए जाने जाते थे. उन्होंने महाभारत द्रोणपर्व ६७ के प्रथम दो श्लोकों से सिर्फ तीन पंक्तियों को ही उद्धृत किया और जानबूझ कर एक पंक्ति छोड़ दी. द्विशतसहस्र का अर्थ उन्होंने दोहजार किया है – जो कि गलत है. इस का सही अर्थ दो सौ हजार होता है. इस सेउनके संस्कृत ज्ञान के दर्शन हो जाते हैं. 
इन में से कोई भी पंक्ति गोमांस से सम्बन्ध नहींरखती और अगर जानबूझ कर छोड़ी गयी पंक्ति भी मिला दें तो अर्थ होगा कि राजारन्तिदेव के राज्य में उत्तम भोजन पकाने वाले २००,००० रसोइये थे जोप्रतिदिन अतिथियों और विद्वानों को बढ़िया खाना ( चावल, दालें, पकवान, मिठाई इत्यादि -शाकाहारी पदार्थ ) खिलाते थे. गोमांस परक अर्थ दिखाने केलिए अगले श्लोक के ‘ माष ‘ शब्द को बदल कर ‘ मांस ‘ किया गया है. 
६. महाभारत में ही, इस के विपरीत –  हिंसा और गोमांस का निषेध करने वाले सैंकड़ों श्लोक मौजूद हैं. साथ ही, महाभारत गाय के लाभ और उसके उपकार की अत्यंत प्रशंसा भी करता है.
७. मूर्ख लोगों ने ‘बाध्यते‘ का अर्थ मारना कर दिया – जो कि संस्कृतकी किसी पुस्तक या व्याकरण या प्रयोग के अनुसार नहीं है. ‘बाध्यते‘ का अर्थहै – नियंत्रित करना. 
अतः: राजा रन्तिदेव के यहाँ गायों का वध होता था  – यह कहीं से भी प्रमाणित नहीं होता. अंत में हम यही कहना चाहेंगे कि विश्व की महानतम पुस्तक वेद और अन्य वैदिक ग्रंथों पर लगाये गए ऐसे कपटपूर्ण आरोपों में अपनी मनमानी थोपने में नाकाम रहे इन बुद्धि भ्रष्ट लोगों की खिसियाहट साफ़ झलकती है.
ईश्वर सबको सद् बुद्धि प्रदान करे ताकि हम सब मिलकर वेदों की आज्ञा पर चलें और संसार को सुन्दर बनाएं.
