Explosive Revelation-Ancient Vedfic Knowledge,

Mind Blowing Ancient Vedfic Knowledge.Amazing Indian knowledge.

6 vedic atoms = 1 photon

Posted by Julian Seidenberg

“"The division of gross time is calculated as follows: two atoms make one double atom, and three double atoms make one hexatom. This hexatom is visible in the sunshine which enters through the holes of a window screen. One can clearly see that the hexatom goes up towards the sky." (SB3.11.05)

Scientists currently believe that the photon (also known as light) is the transmitter particle (gauge boson) for electromagnetic force. Photons supposedly have no mass and no electric charge. It is said that Einstein was the first person to theorize that these particles should exist (except he wasn't the first - not by a long shot!).

Photon (obviously) travel at the speed of light. They can be redirected by gravity (not because gravity attracts the photon like e.g. a magnet attracts iron, but because gravity bends the very space through which the photon flies).

Photons are strange because they behave both as waves and as particles at the same time (as demonstrated in the famous double-slit experiment).

Besides photons, which we "see" every day, there are supposedly a few other gauge bosons, or carrier particles for fundamental forces of nature. Specifically, there supposed to exist W and Z bosons (which supposedly cause the weak atomic interaction), gluons (which supposedly cause the strong atomic interaction) and the (totally speculative) gravitons (which supposedly cause gravity - although no one has ever detected a graviton).

Physicists are hard at work trying to figure out how these particles fit together in a grand unification theory. They believe that if they figure this out they will understand everything there is to know about the elegant universe with no need for primitive gods, deities and other "unscientific" stuff like that.

And here we have the Srimad Bhagavatam stating quite plainly and clearly, thousands of years before the advert of modern physics (or more precisely: the sage Maitreya speaking to Vidura), that the photon is actually made up of 6 (specifically 3 groups of 2) atomic particles. These Vedic Atoms (parama-anuh) are the true fundamental particles of nature. In different combinations these particles presumably also make up the other gauga bosons.

JYOTISHYA- THE SCIENCE OF BHARAT

(Ancient science)

There are a many scientific discoveries that you will find in Indian scriptures written well before so called science 200 years old-" Varahamihira's Brhat-Samhita".

How do heavenly bodies remain in the skies? How is it that they do not fall? Everybody thinks that it was Newton who found the answer to such questions. The very first stanza in the Suryasiddhanta, which is a very ancient treatise, states that it is the force of attraction that keeps the earth from falling.

In Sankara's commentary on the Upanisads there is a reference to the earth's force of attraction. If we throw up an object it falls to the ground. This is not due to the nature of object but due to the earth's force of attraction. "Akarsana-sakti" is force of attraction, the power of drawing or pulling something. The breath called "prana" goes up, "apana" pulls it down. So the force that pulls something downward is apana. The Acharya says the earth has apana-sakti.

The Prasnopanisad (3
"The deity of the earth inspires the human body with apana". In his commentary on this, Sankara observes that, just as an object thrown up is attracted by the earth, so prana that goes up is pulled down by apana. This means that our Upanisads contain a reference to the law of gravitation. There are many such precious truths embedded in our ancient sastras. Because of our ignorance of them we show inordinate respect for ideas propounded by foreigners, ideas known to us many centuries before their discovery by them.

Our Jyotisa is also some thousands of years old. Even so it foresaw the mathematical systems prevalent in the world today.

At the beginning of the kalpa, all grahas were in alignment. But over the ages they have changed their courses. When another kalpa commences, they will again remain in alignment. The "samkalpa" we make before the performance of any ritual contains a description of the cosmos, a reference to the time cycle, and so on. All this is part of Jyotisa.

Centuries ago, we knew not only about the earth's force of attraction but also about its revolution round the sun. Aryabhata, Varahamihira and others spoke of the heliocentric system long before the Western astronomers or scientists. Until the 16th century people in Europe believed that the earth remained still at the centre of the universe and that the sun revolved around it. They further believed that this was how day and night were created. If anybody expressed a different view he was burned at the stake by the religious leaders.

"It is the earth that revolves around the sun, not the sun round the earth", declared Aryabhata. He used a beautiful term to describe the logic behind his view : "laghava-gaurava nyaya". "Laghu" means light, small, etc and "laghava" is derived from it. The opposite of "laghu" is "guru", weighty, big, etc.

"Guru" also denotes a weighty personality, a great man, like an acharya or teacher, one who has mastered a sastra. If the acharya is guru the disciple must be laghu. The student is small and "light" compared to his guru. So he goes round the latter. This is based on "laghava-gaurava nyaya". By adducing this reason for the earth going round the sun, Aryabhata combined science with a traditional sastric belief.

In the old days religious leaders in Europe were opposed to science and even burned scientists as heretics. But today we join the descendants of the very

same people to make the preposterous charge that the Hindu religion stood in the way of scientific advancement, that it ignored the matters of this world because of its concern for the other world. As a matter of fact our traditional sastras are a storehouse of science.

"The sun remains still and it is the earth that goes round it. It is only because the earth revolves round the sun that it seems to us that the sun rises every day in the east and sets in the west". This is mentioned in Aitareya Brahmana of Rgveda. The text says clearly : "The sun neither rises nor sets".

That all learned people in Bharat (India) knew about the earth's revolution is shown by a passage in the Sivotkarsa-Manjari by Nilakantha Diksita who was minister of Tirumala Nayaka. One stanza in this work begins like this : "Bhumir bhramayati" and from it we must also gather that the author's great-uncle, Appayya Diksita, also knew about this truth. What is the content of this verse?

Siva is called "Astamurti". Earth, water, air, fire, space, the sun and the moon, the yajamana or sacrificer--they are all the personification (murti) of Isvara. Among them only the yajamana has no bhramana or motion. All the rest have bhramana, says Appayya Diksita. That he has said so is mentioned in the verse in question by his younger brother's grandson, Nilakantha Diksita.

We see that air has movement, that fire does not remain still, that water keeps flowing. When we look up into the sky, we notice that the sun and the moon do not remain fixed to their spots. As for space, it is filled with sound and it cannot be still. But the earth apparently stands still. Even so, says Appayya Diksita, it has motion. "It revolves".

Let us now consider the shape of the earth. Europeans claim that they were the first to discover that the earth is like a ball, that in the past it had been thought to be flat like a plate. All right. What word do we use for "geography"? "Bhugola sastra", not just "bhu-sastra". We have known from early times that the earth is a "gola", a sphere.

We call the universe with all its galaxies, "Brahmanda". It means the egg created by Brahma (the cosmic egg). An egg is not exactly spherical in shape, but oval. According to modern science the universe too is oval in shape. The cosmos is always in motion, so observe modern astronomers. "Jagat" is the word by which we have known it from Vedic times. What does the word mean? That which does not stand still but is always in motion, that which "is going".

In our country too there were people who refused to believe that the earth rotates on its axis. I will tell you the view of one such school of thought. The earth's circumference is about 25,000 miles. So if it rotates once in 24 hours then it means it rotates more than 1,000 miles an hour or 16 or 17 miles in one minute.

Those who did not accept the fact of the earth's rotation tried to prove their point thus :"There is a tree in Pune [in Maharashtra]. Imagine there is a crow perched on one of its branches. It leaves its perch this moment and soars high and, by the next minute, it perches itself again on the branch of the same tree in Pune. If the rotation of the earth were a fact how would this be possible? The crow should have descended to a place 16 or 17 miles away from where it had started.

I have not checked on how this argument was answered. But when I asked people who know modern science they said : "Surrounding the earth for some 200 miles is its atmosphere. Beyond that there are other spheres. When the earth rotates these too rotate with it". I may have gone slightly wrong in stating the view of modern science. However it be, there is no doubt that when the earth rotates, its atmosphere also rotates with it.

What are called Arabic numerals actually belong to Bharat (India). This fact was discovered by Westerners themselves. The zero is also our contribution and without it mathematics would not have made any advance. Bhaskaracharya established the subtle truth that any quantity divided by zero is infinity ("ananta").

He concludes one of his mathematical treatises with a benedictory verse in which he relates zero to the Ultimate Reality.

When the divisor goes on decreasing the quotient keeps increasing, does it not? If you divide 16 by 8 the quotient is 2; if the same quantity is divided by 4 the result is 4. Divided by 2, the quotient is 8. Divided by zero? The quotient will be infinity. Whatever the number divided, the result will be infinity if

the divisor is 0. Bhaskaracharya gives it the name of "khahara". "Kham" means zero, "haram" means division. Bhaskaracharya says : "I pay obeisance to the Paramatman that is Infinity".

#Decoded Hinduism/Sanatan Dharma-Speed of Light discovery by Vedic Scholar Sayana.

SPEED OF LIGHT IS DESCRIBED IN ANCIENT INDIAN SCRIPTURES-

This is from old texts  book,"commentary on the Rigveda" by Sayana (c. 1315-1387), a minister in the court of King Bukka I of the Vijayanagar Empire in South India. In a hymn addressed to the sun, he says that it is ``remembered that the sun traverses 2,202 yojanas in half a nimesha.” This statement could either relate to the speed of the sun or to that of light. The units are well known. For example, the Indian epic “Mahabharata”, conservatively dated to 400 BC – 400 AD, (it could be >35000 yrs ago)defines 1 nimesha to be equal to 16/75.3 seconds; 1 yojana is about 9 miles. Substituting in Sayana’s statement we get 186,536 miles per second. Unbelievable, you’d say! It cannot be the speed of light. Maybe it refers to the speed of the sun in its supposed orbit around the earth. But that places the orbit of the sun at a distance of over 2,550 million miles. The correct value is only 93 million miles and until the time of Roemer the distance to the sun used to be taken to be less than 4 million miles. This interpretation takes us nowhere. Sayana’s statement was printed in 1890 in the famous edition of Rigveda edited by Max Muller, the German Sanskritist. He claimed to have used several three or four hundred year old manuscripts of Sayana’s commentary, written much before the time of Roemer. Is it possible that Muller was duped by an Indian correspondent who slipped in the line about the speed? Unlikely, because Sayana’s commentary is so well known that an interpolation would have been long discovered. And soon after Muller’s “Rigveda” was published, someone would have claimed that it contained this particular “secret” knowledge. The fact that the speed in the text corresponds to the speed of light was pointed out only recently by S.S. De and P.V. Vartak. Also a copy of Sayana’s manuscript, dated 1395 AD, is available. Further support for the genuineness of the figure in the ancient book comes from another old book, the Vayu Purana. This is one of the earliest Puranas, considered to be at least 1,500 years old. (The same reference is to be found in the other Puranas as well.) In Chapter 50 of this book, there is the statement that the sun moves 3.15 million yojanas in 48 minutes. This corresponds to about 10,000 miles per second if considered as speed of light, and 135 million miles for the distance to the sun, if considered as the speed of the sun. There are others who would say that consciousness, acting on itself can find universal knowledge. Look, they’d say, by examining biological cycles one can know the periods of the sun and the moon. So why shouldn’t it be possible to know other universal truths? They’d add that ancient texts speak — and this is true — of embryo transplants, multiple births from the same fetus, air and space travel, slowing or speeding of time, weapons that can destroy the entire world. They’d say that it is more than ancient science fiction, it shows that the human imagination can envision all that can happen. This brings us back to the question of whether the figure of 186,000 miles per second in Sayana’s book is a astonishing coincidence, an example of the powers of intuition, or a meaningless number. Notes: 1. The Rigvedic hymn number is 1.50. 2.

TERRIFYING TRUTH OF TOXINS IN YOUR EVERYDAY FOOD.

Many of us don't realize exactly how hazardous the chemicals in products we use every day can be to our health. Toxins in household cleaners, water bottles and lotions can affect you more than you realize. While this is a scary thought, it's one that can be managed if you have the right information.

We Come In Contact With 300 Toxins Before We’re Even Born.
A 2011 study found that many pregnant American women carry multiple hazardous chemicals in their bodies, including compounds used as flame retardants. Ninety-six percent of the women surveyed had traces of BPA in their systems.

Seventy-Three Chemicals Commonly Used In Consumer Products Have Been Linked To Tumor Growth.
According to one study, 216 chemicals are associated with increases in mammary gland tumors. These chemicals include chlorinated solvents, products of combustion, pesticides and dyes. Of these 216 chemicals, 73 exist in consumer products or as contaminants of food.
The Primary Law Responsible For Ensuring Chemicals Are Safe—The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)—Was Passed In 1976 And Has Never Been Updated. The law is so weak that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has only been able to require testing on less than two percent of the more than 80,000 chemicals that have been on the market at some point since TSCA was adopted.
One of Seventh Generation’s highest priorities is working towards a strong, effective law to regulate toxic chemicals in the United States. By strengthening and passing the Chemical Safety Improvement Act of 2013, Americans can better protect the health of children and future generations. Until this bill is strengthened, it will not protect children from toxic chemicals, or hold the industry responsible for the safety of the chemicals they use. If this is an issue you’d like to see fixed, head over to Seventh Generation’s website to learn how you can take action.

Toxins Can Lower IQs And Mess With Developing Brains.
A study released earlier this month found strong evidence that exposure to 11 chemicals, including lead, PCB, arsenic and fluoride, can lead to neurodevelopmental disorders in children.
Only 43 Percent Of Common Chemicals Have Been Tested For Potential Human Toxicity.
There are six basic toxicity tests that have been internationally agreed upon for screening mass produced chemicals. Yet, only 43 percent of common chemicals have actually undergone these six tests. (These tests are: acute toxicity, chronic toxicity, developmental/reproductive toxicity, mutagenicity, ecotoxicity and environmental fate.)

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) Commonly Found Around The Home And Workplace Have Been Linked To Respiratory Health Issues And Allergies In Infants.

Over 150 Concerning Chemicals, Like Carcinogens And Parabens, Are Found In The Urine Of The Average American.
Many of these parabens are thought to come from preserved foods as well as body lotions and cosmetics.

ALL WORLD WAS HINDU UNTILL 2400 YRS AGO.

Proof that all over world people were HINDUS.

Extraordinary Proof ! All humans once were HINDUS. Every one including Non Hindus and Non Indian Must read it _/\_
------------ From Bhakti Ananda Goswami:

Several Devotees have asked me what God this is about, or WHO is the God that this Montage is about. Here is my answer...

The interdisciplinary evidence proves that ALL of ancient humanity once worshiped the SAME Original Supreme Personality of Godhead. Africans, Europeans, the Slavic Nations, the Semites (of the Biblical Tradition), the peoples of the Middle East, India, the Orient, Southeast Asia, Oceana and the Western Hemisphere All once worshiped the same One True God.

Did these peoples all retain the original Sattvic worship of their God in the benevolent nature of the Sattva Guna Mode of Goodness? No. Some societies devolved into the Modes of Raja-Guna / Passion and Ignorant Tamo-Guna. In His Bhagavad-gita As It Is, the Supreme Lord Hari (Krishna-Vishnu) describes religion in these Three Modes of Material Nature to His Friend and Devotee, Arjuna.

Using Sri Krishna's description, we can actually sort-out GLOBAL human history according to the more-or-less Sattvic, Rajarshic and Tamasic tendancies of the various civilizations and their RELIGIOUS REALIZATIONS and IDEALS.

The global worship of the Supreme Lord in His Man-Lion Form as Time, associated with His Serpent of Infinity Form as Eternity, can easily be traced through the ancient Sacred Art of the various civilizations. In this Album, I am giving some examples of how the Supreme Lord of Time and Eternity was worshiped and depicted by various civilizations in the ancient World.

To the Vedic-Vaishnavas of India, He was Nara-Hari or Krishna-Vishnu's Man-Lion Form as Kalah / TIME, His Wrathful Theophany (Appearance of God) in His Bhagavad-gita Self-Revelation.

The Shaivite Hindus also call Shiva "Kalah" TIME and say that the Revelation of Cosmic All-devouring TIME / Kalah in the Bhagavad-gita is of their Shiva-Kalah TIME.

The Pure Land (Mahayana) Buddhists say that Kalah-Bairab or Mahadeva (Shiva) is the Wrathful Transformation of Hari or Avalokiteshvara [Vishnu]. Thus Northern or Mahayana Pure Land Buddhism affirms that Shiva or Kalah-Bairava is a Wrathful Form of the Supreme Lord, Hari or Krishna-Vishnu.

Among the many Names of Nara-Simha or Nara-Hari, the Wrathful Man-Lion Form of Hari (Krishna-Vishnu), are the Names of Kalah/Time, Shiva, Mahadeva, Bairava (Bairab) and other Names of Baladeva and Shiva from various cultures and languages.

In this Album I am giving a few of these ancient Holy Names and showing the related Man-Lion Forms associated with them. In ancient times, other than through sound and language, people first communicated visually by signs, symbols and art. Early writing was very pictographic. Thus at first communication was by simultaneous NAMA-RUPA. The HOLY NAME described the FORM, and the FORM revealed the NAME of GOD. So the further back we can explore in the ancient evidence of human religious experience, tracing backwards the more convergence we can find of the Global worship of the One True God, via His Holy Names and Forms. Conversely, if we trace His ancient worship forward in time and space diffusion, the more divergence we find.

Please realize that the very late association of some of these Holy Names of the Supreme Lord with mere polytheistic astrological planetary powers or kings/regents, reflects a terribly mis-leading corruption of the original ancient Monotheism of HARI. Thus a real expert on the most ancient forms of Greek and Roman religious thought or Helios / Soleus-centered Monotheism will say the the Greek Kronos TIME or Roman Saturnus TIME was the Supreme Father God of a previous or Golden Age, that He was associated with agriculture, the civilizing sciences and arts and even, perhaps a Global Edenic Age of Peace of World Peace. He was a Form of Helios Kouros / Krishna associated with that original Monotheism. AND as TIME He was the Origin of the Cosmic Emanations and Incarnations of Divinity. He was the Supreme Father God as the Creator, Maintainer and Destroyer of all Temporary (Material) Worlds!

As Eternity, Ananta Sesha Naga, the Ourobolos Serpent of Infinity, He was also the Lord and Maintainer of the Deathless Spiritual Sky too. Thus He was worshiped Globally and by all peoples as the Supreme Lord of the Spiritual Sky, all of the Spiritual and Cosmic Heavens / Manifestations and Earths, past present and future.

As the Lord of the Three Worlds of Past Present and Future, He was called Zeus or Jupiter Amun Tri-Opes Three-Eyed, Helios Tri-Occulos Three-Eyed, or Nara-Hari Vishnu-Shiva (or Buddhist Narasingha-Lokeshvara, or Kalah-Bairab) TRI-AKSHA Three-Eyed! Commonly when HARI or Krishna-Vishnu wears a single peacock Eye Feather on His Head or Three such Eye-Feathers, this ALSO is a pictorial pun for the fact that He is in- reality ALSO the Three Eyed Lord of the Three Worlds, or Kalah of His Bhagavad-gita Self Revelation as Time and Eternity!

These are the things West calls it has Alien Gods. But they are no one but Ancient Hindus . Do u think These highly qualified Scientists have noclue about it ? BIZARE and Shameless Way of faking Human History. Every one has the right to know who they are , And wr they are from ! As i always said ,History can be faked and Hidden But History can not be changed . This is the reason many religions wr found and lost But Hindusim Still goes strong . Its just matter of time White,Black Brown Asians Join hands as Hindus for a Good old Peaceful ancient Days . Live has a One Community in search of Divinity and Peace .

JAI KALAH BHAIEAV !

lf Revelation as Time and Eternity!

MIND? WHAT IT CONSISTS OF???

The Five Levels
In the Taittiriya Upanishad, the individual is represented in terms of five different sheaths
or levels that enclose the individual's self. These levels, shown in an ascending order, are:

The physical body (annamaya kosha)

Energy sheath (pranamaya kosha)

Mental sheath (manomaya kosha)

Intellect sheath (vijnanamaya kosha)

Emotion sheath (anandamaya kosha )

These sheaths are defined at increasingly finer levels. At the highest level, above the
emotion sheath, is the self. It is significant that emotion is placed higher than the intellect.

This is a recognition of the fact that eventually meaning is communicated by associations
which are influenced by the emotional state.

The energy that underlies physical and mental processes is called prana. One may look
at an individual in three different levels. At the lowest level is the physical body, at the next
higher level is the energy systems at work, and at the next higher level are the thoughts.

Since the three levels are interrelated, the energy situation may be changed by inputs either
at the physical level or at the mental level. When the energy state is agitated and restless,
it is characterized by rajas; when it is dull and lethargic, it is characterized by tamas; the
state of equilibrium and balance is termed sattva.

The key notion is that each higher level represents characteristics that are emergent
on the ground of the previous level. In this theory mind is an emergent entity, but this
emergence requires the presence of the self.

The Structure of the Mind

The Sankhya system takes the mind as consisting of five components: manas, ahankara,
chitta, buddhi, and atman
Manas is the lower mind which collects sense impressions. Its perceptions shift from
moment to moment. This sensory-motor mind obtains its inputs from the senses of hearing,
touch, sight, taste, and smell. Each of these senses may be taken to be governed by a separate
agent.

Ahankara is the sense of I-ness that associates some perceptions to a subjective and
personal experience.
Once sensory impressions have been related to I-ness by ahankara, their evaluation and
resulting decisions are arrived at by buddhi, the intellect. Manas, ahankara, and buddhi are
collectively called the internal instruments of the mind.
Next we come to chitta, which is the memory bank of the mind. These memories con-stitute the foundation on which the rest of the mind operates. But chitta is not merely
a passive instrument. The organization of the new impressions throws up instinctual or
primitive urges which creates different emotional states.

This mental complex surrounds the innermost aspect of consciousness which is called
atman, the self, brahman, or jiva. Atman is considered to be beyond a finite enumeration of
categories.
All this amounts to a brilliant analysis of the individual. The traditions of yoga and
tantra have been based on such analysis. No wonder, this model has continued to inspire
people around the world to this day.

PROOF OF SOUL LEAVING HUMAN BODY .10000s of year old Ancient Hindu Science ~ ĀTMAN / SOUL

PROOF OF SOUL LEAVING HUMAN BODY . Modern Science Re-Discovered Many 10000s of year old Ancient Hindu Science ~ ĀTMAN / SOUL

Russian scientist photographs the soul leaving the body at death :
Death, according to Hinduism, is a series of changes through which an individual passes. The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad describes thus the passing of a soul:
When the soul departs from the body, the life-breath follows: when the life-breath departs, all the organs follow. Then the soul becomes endowed with particularized consciousness and goes to the body which is related to that consciousness. It is followed by its knowledge, works, and past experience. Just as a leech supported on a straw goes to the end of it, takes hold of another support, and contracts itself, so does the self throw this body away and make it unconscious, take hold of another support, and contract itself. Just as a goldsmith takes a small quantity of gold and fashions another - a newer and better - form, so does the soul throw this body away, or make it unconscious, and make another - a new and better - form suited to the Manes, or the celestial minstrels, or the gods, or Virat, or Hiranyagarbha, or other beings. . As it does and acts, so it becomes; by doing good it becomes good, and by doing evil it becomes evil - it becomes virtuous through good acts and vicious through evil acts.

Hinduism speaks of the four courses that men follow after death. First lets see the Midget Modern Science's PROOF ! Hindus already discovered every aspect of Humankind and its Soul . But Midget Modern Scientist asked for PROOF .They are desperate to prove Hindus were FOOLS. But sadly there own midget Science keep proving the WEST as Fools and RACIST

Picture :1 - Here is a perfect example of GDV imaging. Below is the aura of a living soul.

Photo captures precise moment of death as soul leaves :

Dr. Korotkov’s ‘GDV’ camera

The Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV) Bioelectrography camera measures the human energy field. Currently, it’s the only device of its kind in the world.

The system is highly complex and relies on integration of computer software to analyze in real-time the variable distribution of energy levels of biological objects (termed: “gomeokinesis”). The “…evoked bioelectrographic signals and estimation of state by means of non-linear mathematics and ‘data mining’ methods” assist in creating a mosaic of the bio-energy field under study.

The GDV camera in operation

From his abbreviated bio: “Konstantin Korotkov is Professor of Physics at St. Petersburg State Technical University in Russia. He has published over 70 papers in leading journals on physics and biology, and he holds 12 patents on biophysics inventions.

“Korotkov has led a research career for over 25 years, combining rigorous scientific method with an insatiable curiosity about things of the spirit and the soul with deep respect for all life.

“He is also a scholar in philosophy and a serious mountaineer of 20 years experience. He has given lectures, seminars and training sessions in 24 countries, presenting papers and workshops at more than 40 national and international conferences.”

PROOF OF RUSSIAN SCIENTIST :

The timing of astral disembodiment in which the spirit leaves the body has been captured by Russian scientist Konstantin Korotkov, who photographed a person at the moment of his death with a bioelectrographic camera.

The image taken using the gas discharge visualization method, an advanced technique of Kirlian photography shows in blue the life force of the person leaving the body gradually.

According to Korotkov, navel and head are the parties who first lose their life force (which would be the soul) and the groin and the heart are the last areas where the spirit before surfing the phantasmagoria of the infinite.

In other cases according to Korotkov has noted that "the soul" of people who suffer a violent and unexpected death usually manifests a state of confusion in your power settings and return to the body in the days following death. This could be due to a surplus of unused energy.

The technique developed by Korotkov, who is director of the Research Institute of Physical Culture, St. Petersburg, is endorsed as a medical technology by the Ministry of Health of Russia and is used by more than 300 doctors in the world for stress and monitoring progress of patients treated for diseases such as cancer. Korotkov says his energy imaging technique could be used to watch all kinds of imbalances biophysical and diagnose in real time and also to show if a person does have psychic powers or is a fraud.

This technique, which measures real-time and stimulated radiation is amplified by the electromagnetic field is a more advanced version of the technology developed for measuring Semyon Kirlian aura.

Korotkov observations confirm, as proposed by Kirili, that "stimulated electro-photonic light around the tips of the fingers of the human being contains coherent and comprehensive statement of a person, both physically and psychologically."

In this video interview Korotkov speaks of the effect in the bioenergy field with food, water and even cosmetics. And emphasizes one umbrella drink water and organic food, particularly noting that the aura of the people in the Undies suffers the negative effects of nutrients as technologization distributed in this society.

Korotkov also speaks of their measurements in supposedly loaded with power and influence that people have in the bioenergy fields of others. Checking Rupert Sheldrake's experiment of the feeling of being watched : Because a person's bioenergy field changes when someone else directs his attention, even though it is backwards and not consciously perceived. Also a place fields are altered when there is a concentration of tourists.

Also warns of cell phone use and their negative radiation often being carcinogenic, which several studies seem to confirm.

Korotkov hosting is optimistic that this new scientific field, which is a pioneer, is taking, especially in Russia, where some schools were teaching children to recognize and use energy, and not as a suspect but as a metaphysical quantifiable fact.

1700 year OLD VISHNU Idol FOUND in RUSSIA ! ! Hinduism The Mother of RUSSIANS!!

 ! ! ! MIND BOGGLING PROOF !
Raising questions about the prevalent view on the origin of ancient Russia.Staraya Maina village in Ulyanovsk region was a highly populated city 1700 years ago, much older than Kiev, so far believed to be the “ Mother of all Russian cities ” Which means the very orgin of RUSSIAN Civilization were Hindus settlers from Ancient India .

MOSCOW: An ancient Vishnu idol has been found during excavation in an old village in Russia's Volga region, raising questions about the prevalent view on the origin of ancient Russia.

The idol found in Staraya (old) Maina village dates back to VII-X century AD. Staraya Maina village in Ulyanovsk region was a highly populated city 1700 years ago, much older than Kiev, so far believed to be the mother of all Russian cities.

"We may consider it incredible, but we have ground to assert that Middle-Volga region was the original land of Ancient Rus. This is a hypothesis, but a hypothesis, which requires thorough research," Reader of Ulyanovsk State University's archaeology department Dr Alexander Kozhevin told state-run television Vesti .

Dr Kozhevin, who has been conducting excavation in Staraya Maina for last seven years, said that every single square metre of the surroundings of the ancient town situated on the banks of Samara, a tributary of Volga, is studded with antiques.

Prior to unearthing of the Vishnu idol, Dr Kozhevin has already found ancient coins, pendants, rings and fragments of weapons.

He believes that today's Staraya Maina, a town of eight thousand, was ten times more populated in the ancient times. It is from here that people started moving to the Don and Dneiper rivers around the time ancient Russy built the city of Kiev, now the capital of Ukraine.
The legacy of this ancient village, can radically change the history of ancient Russia.

MAYA / ILLUSION / DELUSION ?

MIND BOGGLING : Ancient Hindu Concept of Maya /Concept of Nothing / The Grand Illusion Or The Delusion Of The Mind .

Scientific example : 99.99999 % of ATOM is empty Space ! Which means :NOW the computer ur looking at , Chair sitting ON , YOU YOURSELF are mostly NOT THERE ! DONT EXIST ... AmaZing ? WHAT YOU SEE ITS NOT WHAT IT IS ! ! ! go deeper into the REALITY ! REALITY OF NON EXISTENCE ....

In the great epic Mahabharata, when Duryodhana enters the hall of illusion (maya sabha), he loses his way, becomes confused and envious. Seeing his predicament when Draupadi, laughs at him, he becomes uncontrollably angry, feeling insulted, and vows to take revenge against the Pandava clan for their audacity to display their power and wealth to belittle him in the presence of women. It is in the hall of illusions that the seeds of the great Mahabharata war were actually sown which germinated and ultimately consumed the whole Kuru family bringing them untold misery and great destruction. The epic Mahabharata shows in many ways how human beings can bring misery and destruction to themselves and others through their weaknesses, egoism and selfishness, unmindful of the consequences of their thoughts, desires and actions and where they may lead them eventually.
The world in which we live is also not very different from the hall of illusions we read about in the Mahabharata. We also live here enveloped by illusion, in a state of ignorance about ourselves, whereby we fail to discriminate between truth and false hood, become confused, engaging ourselves in egoistic struggles and binding actions, and lose our connection with God and our own divinity. If some one comes and tells you that you are a divine soul, you think about it in disbelief, with no conviction of your own that you could not have been here unless there was some underlying purpose. We all want to believe that we are not mere mortals and that there is something about us that extends beyond what we know and what we can feel and touch. But our rationale minds would not be satisfied with mere assurances of religious scriptures or the teachings of self-realized masters. We need proof, which will not come, however, unless we stand on the edge and take a deep plunge.

One of the unique concepts of Hinduism is maya, which is actually used to describe our current state of existence, how much alienated we are from our true nature and how deeply entangled we become with the objects of our desires, weaving in the process a web of deceptions around ourselves that keep us conveniently concealed from the truth of who we are or what we should have been. It is a state in which each individual soul considers itself to be someone else, separate and distinct from the rest of creation and God Himself. Our scriptures make it clear that our world is a trap and maya is the trapping mechanism. It is the idea of butter or the temptation of curiosity or some wicked desire that brings us here in the first place and puts us in contact with the objects of our world. Once we taste it, we enter into a make believe world and stop thinking about going back. We become involved with the process of becoming and being, as embodied souls, imprisoned in our own thoughts and desire bodies, undergoing births and deaths, binding ourselves to the consequences of our own actions and delaying our own liberation.

And who unleashes this potent force? God is described in the Hindu scriptures as Mayavi, the grand master of illusion. He casts his net of illusion to catch the individual souls that are swimming in the waters of life as free souls, enjoying the highest bliss. He then drops them in the lap of His dynamic energy or Shakti to take care of the rest of the process. Maya or illusion thus becomes a very potent instrument in the hands of the Divine Prakriti, the Primal Nature. Through the force of illusion, She holds the beings under its sway. This objective is accomplished through the interplay of the triple gunas, the sattva, rajas and the tamas and the grand play of desires caused by the formation of the ego and loss of buddhi or the power of discrimination. Under their influence, the indwelling Purusha becomes attached to the outside world and thereby suffers from delusion of the mind and lack of discrimination and true knowledge. God is also described as the concealer. He hides Himself from Himself in our minds and bodies and there by perpetuates the belief that He is not what He is or that He is different from what He is. Maya therefore is not only a binding mechanism but also a concealing mechanism.

The Gita teaches us how to deliver ourselves from this delusion of mind and thereby from our bondage to the cycle of births and deaths and the pairs of opposites such as pain and pleasure or happiness and sorrow. The true meaning of the word "moksha" is not salvation but destruction of moha or delusion that precedes salvation. To achieve this a correct understanding of the mechanism of maya is essential, which is described in brief in the following lines.

1. The Senses

The sense which are ten in number (five external and five internal) are the main instruments of Maya through which it deludes the beings by developing in them the desire for sense objects. According to the Bhagavadgita, out of desire comes attachment and out of attachment a man becomes deluded.

2. Loss of buddhi (discrimination)

Senses are imperfect instrument of truth. They cannot go beyond the sense objects. Therefore they actually breed ignorance. Beings who depend upon the senses cannot go beyond the visible and perceptible world. This results in ignorance and the loss of wisdom to know the reality from unreality, to discern correctly truth from untruth, good from bad, divine from demonic, right action from wrong action and so on. Out of the ignorance thus born, the individual soul indulges in wrong actions, beliefs, thoughts, false knowledge, ignorant masters, egocentric view of life and incorrect worship of God. Thus it becomes bound to the material and the mortal existence.

3. Desires and attachment

The person under the influence of Maya is always attached to the world outside him. Not only to the world, but very much to his own egoistic identity of himself, his possessions and his relations. Memories pursue him, time haunts him and thoughts possess him. By becoming attached to the world, conditioned by memory and accumulated knowledge, he develops envy and selfishness and also many such negative qualities as pride, fear, greed, anger, malice, caprice, cruelty, callousness, lust and intense desire for success and personal advancement. Life becomes a battle field in which he alone has to win. There is no place for failure and weakness. Attracted to pleasures, averse to pain, fearful of loss and hopeful of gain, unable to go beyond the lures and temptations of the world, though aware that all is vain in the end, he plods on, striving and struggling, as if death would never touch him

4. Sense of duality and multiplicity

The man of delusion cannot see the One hidden in all. He sees only the diversity and the multiplicity of the life and the world around him. Feeling lonely and isolated, unable to trust others and the world he lives in, as if the world is an enemy determined to subdue him and destroy him, he suffers from intense anxiety about himself and his future. Because of the sense of duality he loses his unified vision and sees the world in terms of pairs, divisions, groups, categories, numbers and opposites, and in short, in terms of relative and subjective reality.

5. Transience, Instability and Destructibility

One of the characteristic features of illusory existence is that it gives us the impression that our existence is finite, unstable, impermanent and ever changing. When an individual soul is drawn into this ever changing unstable world, which we call samsara or the world of cause and effect, it is attracted to the sense objects and in the process becomes subject to the conflicting emotions caused by the pairs of opposites such as pain and pleasure, gain and loss etc. It suffers from the insecurity and fear of death and becomes selfish and possessive. The souls develop qualities which direct their behavior. Those of demonic nature use cruelty, death and destruction as the means for establishing their control and supremacy over others.

6. Ego and False identification

Under the influence of illusion, the jivas or individual souls develop ego sense, the sense of separateness and pride in their individual merit, personal possessions and achievements. The ego is responsible for the sense of ownership and doership, identification of the individual with his body and mind, and failure to know his true nature. It makes the individual souls think and act selfishly and egoistically as if they are different from the others and engages them in acts of self preservation characterized by competition and conflict and cooperation and friendship. Thus the ego ultimately lands all the beings into suffering, delusion and bondage to the earthly life.

7. Incorrect Relationship with God

The beings under illusion cannot see the Invisible God and so they cannot correctly comprehend Him. They cannot see Him in all and all in Him. They cannot go beyond the senses and the gunas and experience the soul consciousness. Even if they do, they cannot contain that experience in their limited consciousness. Because of egoism they would not acknowledge God and would not surrender themselves to Him. Due to their inherent imperfections and negative qualities, they fail to show true devotion to God and realize Him in themselves.

8. Mortality and the Cycle of birth and death

Under the influence of illusion, when a jiva or being indluges in egoistic actions, accepting the sense of doership, with a desire to enjoy the fruit of actions, it becomes subject to the laws of karma and dharma and returns again and again to the world of mortality. Depending upon its previous actions, it takes birth in different wombs, circumstances and families and pays the price in the form of suffering from the consequences of its previous actions. This process goes on repeatedly till it realizes its folly and engages in right actions with the right attitude, which is prescribed in the Bhagavadgita and lays a foundation for its progression towards its freedom and self-realization.

9. Deliverance from Maya

Not everything is lost for the souls in this world. It is possible for a soul to escape from the net of illusion by overcoming its limitations with the help of the teachings of Lord Krishna who showed the true path of liberation to Arjuna in the middle of the battle field. By following the Bhagavadgita, a person can stabilize his mind by controlling his senses and desires; become a humble devotee of God by concentrating his mind on Him fully, surrendering to Him unconditionally and absorbed in him through single minded devotion; perform desireless actions knowing that only the senses, the organs of the body and the gunas are acting, offering the fruit of actions to God; and attain the Supreme Self.

10. What is Truth?

We all suffer from the grand illusion that what we know and experience through our senses is the truth and that we are capable of knowing the facts of our existence with the help of our minds and senses, where as the truth is we cannot discern reality with our limited consciousness. We cannot answer the question about truth truthfully, because we do not know the answer. We may give an answer, some answer, but that answer would not be correct. It may satisfy our mental curiosity but not our soul's deepest yearning to be itself. The predicament we face is how can we define something that we have not been able to experience consciously? How can we bring that into our field of experience when it does not exist here. We may explain the transcendental truths of our existence and describe it in roundabout ways, but we cannot translate it perfectly into words unless we can contain and maintain the absolute truth in an absolute way.

With regard to truth, we can take many stand points and justify each of them with necessary validations which we can conceive of. We can make each point of view stand by itself or stand tall or short in comparison with the rest. But we cannot bring them all together or hold them all together as one complete and whole truth. That is what Truth is all about. It is everything as well as nothing. It is multidimensional, indefinable and all encompassing. It reconciles everything into itself and resolves everything and anything into one harmonious whole, something which our human minds can never do, accustomed as they are to relative thinking and perceptivity. This is the limitation of the human existence and human intelligence, brought about by the divine play of maya. It is what happens when you come under the influence of maya and even not aware of it. You see but you do not actually see. You live, but you are not sure whether it is the right way of living. You know something, but you are not sure whether it is the truth. You are not sure whether you are awake when you are conscious and asleep when you are unconscious. You are not even sure why you are here and for what end.

How To Calculate Thithi Hindu Festivals US Europe

Hindu way of Calculation of TimeThe Devout in the US face this problem of finding out the dates of Hindu Festivals,Thithis, Amavasya,Upakarma ,Gayatri Japa and other Festivals like
Deepavai Makara Sankaranthi.

Time Calculation by The Hindus

The general practice as I understand from the US and UK is that the priests there use some kind of Calculators, convert the days /dates directly and

arrive at the Information.

I received some information on this,

Let us consider the recent lunar eclipse which was observed in USA (15 April 2014) and not in India. It should occur only on a full moon day even in USA as it is in India. According to Srirangam punchangam the pournami was approximately from 2pm Monday(14th April) to2pm Tuesday in Srirangam. This puts the middle of Poornima about 2am on Tuesday in Srirangam. The total lunar eclipse occurred about2am central time, Tuesday, in USA. This clearly shows that we should apply Indian timings as they are to correspond to the same timings with sun rise correction in USA.

I was taken aback when some temples in USA observed Gayathri Japam on the day when lunar eclipse was going on about 4, 5 years back asking followers to wait to do the japam until the eclipse came to an end instead of doing Upakarma on that day ( that day being a pournami as predicted in Indian punchangam ). Gayathri japam should be done early morning after Sandya vandam on the following day of Upakarma. There are no Doshams attached to this.

The USA temple priests are not punchanga nirnayam experts eventhough they are asked to act like one. The Indian astrologers still believe the earth to be flat and at the center of our planetary system. So their opinions to translate the timings to suite other geographical regions are not acceptable.”
Dr.K.P Sarathy.

Valid Point.

What is the correct procedure?

Find the time of Sun Rise.

Check the Panchaangam for Thithi , Nakshatra presence in the day in Naazhkai.

Covert the Naazhikai into normal time.(One Naazhikai-24 minutes)

In conjunction with the Sunrise find out the presence of Thithi on a particular day.

Those who follow Chaandramaana,(Lunar Calendar), must celebrate the function on the day when the Thithis is least(Thithi should be less than 51 Naazhikai)

For more on this please refer my posts on this subject under Hinduism/Time.

The reason to say that direct conversion is incorrect is that our Panchanga Timings are not Absolute.

Indian scriptures about scientific evolution/microbiology.#decoding #hinduism

Microbiology in The VedasWhile rest of religions talk about Adam and Eve, Indian scientific scriptures talks about real evolution of all species in world from unicellular to multicellular ,evolution of microorganisms, plants etc.An Santi Parva of Mahabharata,Section XV Arjuna speaks of the world of Microbes,’which ,though not seen by the naked eyes, support Life”

Talks of Darwinism when he says that the strongest survive by feeding and annihilating them.

The Mobile and the Immobile world is Food for Living creatures.

Jainism had such an advanced knowledge and Piety, the Jain Monks use to sweep the path they travel gently with a fan made of Peacock feathers to make sure that the smaller organisms are not unintentionally killed by them.

Kara , Dhooshana, Inderjith and Ravana’s Moola Sena were adept at fighting biological warfare.

Our Vedic literature recorded about 740 plants and 250 animals.
¨ The first attempt of classification is observed in Chandyogya Upanishad, which classified animals into three categories — Jivaja(Viviparous = giving birth to young ones), e.g. mammals, Andaja(Oviparous = egg lying), e.g. birds, reptiles, insects and worms, andUdbhija (Vegetal origin), e.g. minute animals. Post-Vedic Indian literature, such as Susruta Samhita (600 BC) classified all ‘substances’ into sthavara (immobile), e.g. plants, jangama (mobile), e.g. animals.
¨ Plants were further subdivided into Vanaspati (fruit yielding non-flowering plants), Vriksha (both fruit yielding and flowering plants),Virudha (shrubs and creepers), and Osadhi (plants that die with ripening of fruits).
Susruta described in detail the parts of plants, such as Ankura (sprout), Mula (root), Kanda (bulb or stem), Patra (leaf),Pushpa (flower), Phala (fruit), etc.
¨ Susruta Samhita also mentioned about classification of animals, such as Kulacara (those herbivores who frequent the river banks, e.g. elephant, buffalo, etc.), Matsya (fish), Janghala (wild herbivorous quadrupeds, e.g. deer), Guhasaya (carnivorous quadrupeds like tiger, lion, etc.). Susruta Samhita also records some observations on snakes (both venomous and non-venomous) and leeches.

They knew about Microbes and about fermentation.

They were aware of the exact combinations and temperatures at which fermentation takes place in preparing Buttermilk,Curds,Liquor.

The existence of Lives , which are smaller and Microscopic was analysed.

Germ theory of diseases was first established by Vedic Rishis and was recorded in Vedas.
Vedas are first text in the world to record nexus between microbes and disease.
In Vedas, prime etiological factors of diseases mentioned are–

a) Endogenous toxins, its accumulations, and causation of a disease; b) ‘Krimi’ –’Drisya’ (visible), ‘Adrisya’ (invisible); and c) Imbalance of tridosha.
Rigveda, Yajurveda, and Atharvaveda followed by Āyurvedas provide rich insight into microbial sciences that existed in Bharat many thousands of years ago.
In Rigveda (1/191), Rishị Agastya pinpoints out that there are two types of poisonous creatures viz. those exceedingly poisonous and others are less poisonous.
Of them, some are visible venomous, while others are invisible one.
Some of them live in water, while others live on earth.
Perhaps Ṛsị Agastya is the first person to state that invisible creatures are also toxin producers.
He also prescribes antidotes as remedy for the poison. Atharvaveda reiterates that whenever there is accumulation of toxins within the body, disease results.
Use of Biological weapons of Mass Destruction was known.
There are large number of suktas in the Vedas which provides information about microbiological knowledge in the ancient Vedic texts.
KankotanSukta by Rishi Agastaya (Rigveda 1/191); KrimighnamSukta (Atharvaveda 5/23), KriminashnamSukta (AV. 2/32), KrimijambhanamSukta
(AV. 2/31) all by Rishi Kanva; RakshognamSukta (AV. 5/29) by Rishi Chatan; KriminashnamSukta (AV. 4/37) by Rishi Badrayani and other suktas
provides insight into the Microbial sciences in Vedas.
Not only the Vedas, Ayurvedic texts like Charaka Samhita, Susruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya and many others provides rich insight into Vedic Microbiology.

Mystery of the missing 1000 yr old Gods in INDIA - Traced to USA and Australian National Gallery Of Art

Mystery of the missing Gods: 1,000-year-old guardian of the Brihadeeswara temple, Shiva Nataraja
Palaniswamy, whose family guarded Brihadeeswara Temple in Sripuranthan for centuries, lights a lampatan empty spot now
Sripuranthan, 300 km off Chennai, The altar is stripped bare, like a frame without a picture: It's a temple without a god. The 1,000-year-old guardian of the temple, Shiva Nataraja, is missing from his abode-Where did it go- details here-
The Lord of Cosmic Dance has travelled 9,000 km to the National Gallery of Art (NGA) in Canberra, Australia. How did he get there? Ask Subhash Kapoor, 65, a New Delhi-born and New York-based antiquity dealer, considered an art connoisseur as well as one of the biggest idol smugglers in the world. He sold the Nataraja to NGA for Rs.31 crore in 2008. Ask the men of the Idol Wing, the antiquity theft squad of Tamil Nadu Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW.) They will tell you how the master art thief worked a network of lowlife criminals to loot timeless treasures and sell them to the highest bidder. Ask the Homeland Security Investigations (HIS) of America. They accuse Kapoor of stealing over 150 idols worth $100 million from India. The missing god is at the centre of a curious trial that has just started in a district court in Tamil Nadu. SO THIS IS BOUGHT ILLEGALLY BY USA GOVT AND AUSTRALION GOVT OR PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS,KNOWING IT IS STOLEN FROM INDIA. Criminlas act,but INDIA is so busy in its own downfall,it has not time but to still devide and get ruled by same people who tends to divide it again in name of AAP,CONGRESS. By the way Soniya Gandhi's sistet was also doing same trade of IDOL BUSINESS.
It's the old story of human greed and relentless pursuit of profit. But it's new in its span, complexity and daring. It blends two vastly different worlds, art and police intelligence, spanning across continents: India, Thailand, US, UK and Australia. "Art and antiquity theft is one of the most lucrative crimes," says IPS officer Prateep V. Philip, currently additional director general, EOW, in Chennai. "It outbids drug trafficking, arms dealing, and money laundering." Hence the odds of recovering stolen treasures are abysmal, one in ten. But in this case, the Idol Wing has managed to trace eight of the 28 idols stolen from Sripuranthan and the nearby village of Suthamalli, to various museums and galleries across the world. The case promises to be one of the most significant courtroom tests on how to track art and antiquity crimes in an increasingly networked world. But ultimately it's a searing morality tale, where arrogance, pride and hubris lead to individual downfall.

Kapoor possibly learnt his trade from his father. Parshotam Ram Kapoor, who had a gallery in Delhi which allegedly trafficked in stolen antiquities sourced from temple thieves of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. "Kapoor, too, has contacts spanning across India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Dubai, Cambodia and Bangkok," says Philip. Kapoor and his family earned a reputation as respectable and enlightened art collectors in the US. "But that was a front," says Philip. Kapoor roamed the London and Frankfurt book fairs, bought books, did his research and then travelled to countries rich with objets d'art, set up middlemen who could procure those and used a wide network of collectors, museum curators and dealers to ship and sell his ill-gotten art with fake idols.
He spent more than 30 years in the tony ZIP codes of Manhattan, New York. With his flourishing private museum, Art of the Past, Kapoor hobnobbed with the well-heeled and well-funded, was the person to drop in on for anything to do with Indian art and was ever-present at major art dos across the world. He also ran a fine-art storage business, Sofia Storage, and a lucrative import-export business of antiquities, Nimbus Import Inc, in New York.

According to A.G. Pon Manickavel, deputy inspector general and in-charge of the Idol Wing, Kapoor stayed at the five-star Taj Connemara hotel every time he visited Chennai and met local art dealers. The network of local temple thieves was lured with the promise of big money. By his own confession to the police (later retracted), he had paid $700,000 through his HSBC Bank account for the 28 idols-nothing compared to what he earned for them, but big enough to lure the thugs. "The client is a big man. Stick with us and you will get so rich that you won't have to work ever," one of the seven local thugs, Marisamy, was told after he handed over 10 idols and received Rs.25 lakh

The loot

It happened one night
They came in the dead of night. Seven men in a lorry-sometimes together, sometimes in batches. They had come before to do a recce. And they had no fear of god, they had stolen enough temple treasures. All that mattered was money and they had been promised a lot by a Keralite art dealer Sanjeevi Asokan of Chennai, who they trusted and who knew old temples in and around Tamil Nadu like the back of his hand. He was looking for antique metal idols of the Chola era for a big client and had discovered that the Sripuranthan and Suthamalli temples were crumbling, locked and unused.
According to the confession reports of two of the temple thieves, Rathinam and Pitchaimani, one night in January 2006, they parked a lorry on one side of the wide bed of a dried-up lake near the Nataraja temple, far from the village. They just pulled at the temple's lock and it came unstuck. They removed three of the eight idols inside, glued the lock back together with adhesive and left. Asokan collected those, purchased new, cheap statues that looked similar and mingled the lot together. He bribed some customs officials and obtained an export certificate for what he claimed was a handicraft collection. This was then shipped from Chennai harbour via Hong Kong and London to Kapoor in New York.
All was well until June 2008, when officers from the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department turned up in Sripuranthan, suggesting that the idols be taken away for safe storage. Unwilling to hand over their gods, the panchayat promised to secure the Lord Nataraja with a collapsible iron gate. In August, as a crowd gathered for gate installation, the lock was found to be broken and precious idols missing. The story of looting 18 idols from Suthamalli in February 2008 is exactly the same. By the time the theft came to light two months later, when a visiting priest opened its doors, the idols had already reached Hongkong.
Six of the 28 gods have already been identified in museums and private collections across the world: Canberra, New South Wales, Chicago, Ohio to Singapore. The Australian government has ordered NGA to remove the Nataraja from display. EOW has started a census of the 45,000 temples of the state. But with the trial on course, the villagers are desperate to claim their god back. They are raising money to repair the temple. "When are you bringing him back?" asks a woman casually as she strolls by, dragging a goat on a string. But will Nataraja want to return to a nation that allows cobwebs to settle in temples? The outcome of the case will tell if his wrath has been appeased for now.
